Traveling through New Ulm today, this place has excellent Mexican food, it’s authentic and reasonably priced! Great attentive service too. The shrimp dish I had was excellent and there was enough for two meals.

What a great authentic Mexican restaurant. Everything about this place was almost perfect. The atmosphere was cozy and relaxed. The food was absolutely !! The only thing that I found that was lacking was the service. I went during a nonbusy time of the evening. Didn’t have to wait to be seated. Once I got my seat, the hostess brought out the chips and salsa like she was rushed. The way she put them on the table and immediately took off you’d of thought there was a line of people wrapped around the building. ( the reality of it was the exact opposite). Needless to say, the server acted like she really didn’t want to be there waiting on anyone. Overall, though, it was a good experience. They even have outside seating for warmer weather.

A standard Mexican restaurant with above average food. The inside it warm and welcoming alone with the staff. I have never had an issue with any of the staff and attitude; everyone is very friendly. I’ve been enjoying Plaza for years. Nice atmosphere, good food and fast service at a fair price. The giant burrito ranchero and the Jalisco Special are my two favorite. The burrito more for lunch visits and the Jalisco for dinner.

Great food that doesn’t break the bank. Fast service that doesn’t break your patience. And courteous to a fault that doesn’t break your mentality Maragrita was tasty and made me wish I ordered a pitcher (just for myself!). Between the complimentary chips, the appetizer and enchilada plate I left with a looser (not loser!) belt.

Came in for lunch and had a really great experience. We were seated right away and served chips and salsa to start. The staff was super friendly and gave us plenty of time to look over the menu. After ordering, it took only about 5 minutes for our food to arrive—so fast! Everything was fresh, tasty, and exactly what we were hoping for. We all enjoyed our meals and will definitely be coming back if were in town again.
