Amazing food. Breakfast buffet is better than anything on Devon Street chicago. Very kind, clean and fairly priced place.
Haleem and halwa are to die for

Organized my baby’s first birthday here. From food to management’s cooperation in accommodating every request I made, they were phenomenal. Muhammad bhai helped us in managing my event to every possible extent and the whole experience was so smooth that I felt like im organizing it at my own restaurant. Thanks team mughal for making my day. Thanks everyone especially Mr Muhammad for everything

I visited this restaurant yesterday for their Iftar buffet and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience.

The overall food quality did not meet expectations. The pakoras were extremely high in sodium, making them difficult to enjoy. The mutton karahi was particularly disappointing — the meat was undercooked and lacked proper flavor development. For a buffet that is meant to represent traditional Iftar standards, the execution fell far below what one would expect.

I understand that Iftar services can be busy, but quality and proper cooking should never be compromised. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and improves both food preparation and quality control for future guests.

I tried here for the first time. Love their food. Ambience was ok. Not a huge place nor small. It was decent. But the taste of the food was ultimate, specifically Naan we had was toooo fresh and tasty. I can say the best Naan I had in Atlanta so far is here. We tried Chicken Biryani, Mutton Biryani, Hakeem, Kebabs, Naan and curry. Everything was tooo good. Parking space is decent. Prices are reasonable.

I’m not usually a big fan of haleem, but the one here is really good. I also tried their chicken fried rice, which was okay, and the mutton biryani, which was good. Their chicken seekh kebab was okay too, but the beja fry was really good.

We went to Mughal Restaurant for the weekend buffet and were quite disappointed. This is not a regular buffet where you expect a good variety of items like starters, desserts, drinks, or multiple options.

The spread was very limited. There were no desserts, no drinks, and no appetizer options except for one chicken item (Murgh Chargah). The main items included chicken biryani, chicken haleem, and goat paya. While the chicken haleem and goat paya were very good and flavorful, the overall buffet experience felt incomplete for $20 per adult.

Definitely not recommended for kids, as there’s no variety or “fun” food options for them. Overall, the limited selection does not justify calling this a buffet. Will not visit again for buffet.

Iftar was terrible. Ran out of food and more was “coming”.

If management can’t handle the crowd, then cap the admittance. They’ll be quick to charge $23/person, but don’t live up to their promises. Have some shame.

Mughal Restaurant is my absolute favorite Indian restaurant in Atlanta. I make sure to eat here at least once every time I visit the city. Their goat biryani is exceptionally flavorful and perfectly spiced. The basmati rice is fluffy and aromatic. Their butter naan literally melts in your mouth and might be the best I’ve ever had. The butter chicken has an incredible creamy and buttery sauce that complements the tender chicken so well.

On my most recent visit, I was craving their brain masala, which is difficult to find at most Indian restaurants. Unfortunately they had run out that day, but that gave me the chance to try their assortment of kababs which did not disappoint. The chicken tikka and seekh kababs were exceptionally tender and packed with spice and flavor.

The service at Mughal is also friendly, attentive and fast. The portions are very generous for the price. I almost always have leftovers to enjoy the next day. I cannot recommend this gem of a restaurant enough for exceptionally delicious and authentic Indian cuisine in Atlanta. I look forward to returning again soon!

So, the Kadai Chicken and Garlic Roti were absolutely delicious. Yum! ️ But here’s the thing, we had to grab our own plates, glasses, and water. Apparently, the restaurant started doing this because people didn’t want to pay an extra $5 for table service. Kinda weird, right? But hey, at least the staff was great!

I had been looking forward to trying Mughal’s famous halwa puri on my visit to Atlanta. Regrettably, the experience was very poor. The quality of the food across the board was low, and the halwa puri was the most disappointing item. For the price paid, it was not a good value, and I wouldn’t recommend it based on this visit.
