Me and my husband love coming here for some quick sushi. The atmosphere is relaxing and service is quick. We came for Valentine’s Day and they were very busy but still great. A woman also handed out these flowers to all the women/girls eating and it made me night!! Such a sweet gesture… thank you guys! ❤️

Subpar food, good service though! Plenty of parking, easy to get to. Ground level for ease of access.
Got three different sushi rolls, 2 sashimi, seafood salad, and miso soup. I liked the eel sashimi and seafood salad.
I believe my major issue was any of the fried items tasted off, like they need to change their oil more often.
Fresh fish alone was good.

We have been eating here the last 5 years, and the hibachi is always the full option if you are hungry. In our case , we decided for some rolls, and vegetables gyoza , definitely pork gyoza taste good but is nice to try different appetizers. The fried rice is good too.

Very unpleasant experience. I ordered Samurai Jumbo Sushi which supposedly come with ELL and avocado on a top. From 8 pieces avocado was only on 2 and ell only on 6. I call manager and ask where the rest of the ingredients, she was very rude, telling me it’s made half and half. But in a menu it’s said ELL AND AVOCADO on a top.Huge disappointment with Quality of food and service. I’ll never be back at that place. Instead of fixing the problem, she threw my credit card back to me. Don’t waste your time. It’s plenty of all of the sushi places around one of the best is Tako on Galloway Road. Always excellent food and excellent service.

They deserve 0 stars. Such an unwelcoming and horrible atmosphere. Trash service. Trash food. The server had a dirty look on her face from when we entered till we left. She didn’t even come once to the table. Our food was brought by someone else. All for what? Just because she went to seat us and I asked for a table closer to the restroom bc I had my baby and toddler and needed to watch her. What a trash server and place. The food was cold and disgusting I swear. How do you mess up a simple salad or miso soup??? I never go here, but had no choice since my daughter wanted sushi and my beloved Shogun is being renovated. Don’t go here. Just wait till Shogun is done being renovated and then go there. They have better food, better service and their prices are appropriate. Avoid this trash place.

DO NOT EAT HERE

I got food poisoning from this restaurant after eating sushi and was violently sick for HOURS, throwing up nonstop until around 3 a.m. This was not mild discomfort. It was painful, exhausting, and completely unacceptable. This was the only food I ate that night.

When I called the restaurant the next day, the manager showed zero concern, never apologized, and immediately asked if I had a doctor’s note. I was told that when situations like this happen, the owner instructs them to request a doctor’s note so it can be “submitted to insurance.” I did not go to a doctor at 3 a.m. while puking my brains up. They were also able to pull up my online order immediately, so there was no question that I ate there.

All I asked for was a $46 refund for food that made me severely ill. That’s it. I even said I wouldn’t leave a review or take any further action just basic accountability and AN APOLOGY WOULD HAVE BEEN NICE.

The owner was supposed to call me. It’s been 48 hours and they never did.

While having policies isn’t inherently a problem, the way this was handled, with no hesitation, no empathy, and no follow-up, made it feel like this is something they deal with regularly. That is extremely concerning, especially for a restaurant serving raw fish. After my experience, a friend also told me she got food poisoning from this place.

The complete lack of empathy, accountability, and follow-up is deeply troubling. If customer safety were a priority, this would have been handled very differently.

If you value your health, do not eat here.

We have been eating here for almost 10 years. Never had a bad day and the food is always ALWAYS on point. The staff are so friendly and have great hospitality. Some of the very nice waitresses already know our orders and have watched my family grow. Love it here and it’s the best sushi spot in Bensalem/ Great Northeast

Edit: We LOVE our waitress Kylie. She is sweet, knows our order as soon as we sit down and is such a wonderful person.

Sakura is a solid local go-to for sushi and basic Japanese fare. They offer a long, diverse list of specialty rolls in addition to the standard options. We’ve tried everything from a rolls topped with coconut flakes to a unique combination of steak and cream cheese, and none have disappointed. The freshness and quality consistently meet expectations.

Their atmosphere is standard compared to other local sushi spots. Service is quick and the dining area is clean. Expect a slight wait during peak times as they offer a discount for eating in. That said, it’s worthwhile from a value perspective. Aside front the discount, their tempura options are much better when you avoid the to-go box and get the crisp, clean crunch that comes from a place that keeps the fryer oil fresh. Recommended for good sushi, and creative specialty rolls.
