I have to say, the size of this building is impressive. It’s probably the largest restaurant I’ve seen in a long time.
The decor is fantastic, very festive and lots of interesting art and wall mounts to view.
The menus have leather covers which is something I’ve never seen before.
I had a very late lunch. So I ordered off of the dinner menu.
Don’t expect your average Tex-Mex here.
This is what I would call elevated Tex-Mex.
The food was good, I liked the rice, beans, white queso and the dessert was delicious.
I had the flan and it came with a strawberry rose garnish.
The service was on point, and everybody greeted and acknowledged the guests.

Man this place was great. Came in on Black Friday after messing with the crowds shopping. Only thing better here than the food was the staff. The Main Street special was perfect! The tamales were top shelf. Make sure you try this place!!!

The nicest Mexican restaurant I have ever dined in, owned by an award-winning chef. Inside the walls are covered with recognition of Chef Felipe Gaytan accomplishments. Wow, it is an honor just to be in the establishment! This is a destination restaurant you must try.
Beautiful and roomy inside. Decorated in a rustic Mexican, Texican motif. Comfortable, cozy and upscale. How upscale? Mouth wash available in the restroom, upscale!
The meal starts with chips and salsa. Make sure that you sample ALL of the salsas available. Check the Pictures. This is some of the best of the best. I ordered one of the chef specialties, Adobo Shrimp over Crab Enchiladas: Grilled Adobo Glazed Shrimp, over Crab Enchiladas, Mango-Serrano Pico and Wilted Spinach, Fried Plantains. Amazing delicious! My Wife had the Carnitas Fajitas: Pork Carnitas, Pineapple, Grilled Onions, Rice, Beans, Sour Cream, Pico, and Tortillas, Perfect flavorful carnitas with pineapple, a perfect combination.
Upscale service just like the restaurant food and ambiance. It set the bar for my Mexican food experience.

We’ve been on the road a lot lately and hadn’t made time to stop in and see Felipe and enjoy a meal — and let me tell you, it just keeps getting better and better.
The atmosphere was spot on. The food was outstanding. Every detail felt intentional. It’s easy to see the pride and hard work that goes into that place.
Felipe, you’re doing an incredible job. Thank you for what you continue to build and for what you do for our community. Denison is better because of businesses like yours. This is a must stop.

Slow to take drink order, even slower to fill drink order.
Had to ask to have my tea refilled three times before the waiter did it. Food took way too long to come out. Food 3 on a scale of 10. The check took longer to get than the tea.
They add a credit card fee so if you pay with cash make sure they take it off the ticket. Bottom line got out of there two and a half hours later.
Never ever again. Save your time and money and go absolutely anywhere else!!

Rustico is some of the best in Denison. The absolute best thick white queso! I always get the Puerco en salsa Verde because the pork is so tender and I love the sauce – but it’s a lot of food!
Yesterday, I switched it up and got the jalapeño bacon Mac and cheese appy and was Not disappointed! I’ll be getting that again!
