This is the best restaurant, I’ve eaten at in years. I literally cannot do this tiny, hole in wall any justice. My advice, go there before they become famous and bougie. Everything I ate was phenomenal. I have literally thought about those dishes, well, too often! I obviously can’t wait to return. The prices are modest, service was excellent, parking was easy, and the food!!! Definitely order the chips and salsa, my mushroom tacos were ridiculously good, the tamales are amazing, and the corn was so good, it should be illegal. Go before it’s famous!

I had the Tostadas Cochinita Pibil with an Horchata late. It was pretty good, I’m more of a pupusa girl, so my tastebuds are a little different I love spice but also like a more subtle flavor if that makes sense but I wanted to try something new. The tostadas were FILLED with meat (it was a lot for me lol and super flavorful) I feel like it’s not for me, but I’m also just picky. It was still wonderfully cooked loved the pickled onions and cilantro I had ordered a Cinnabon Roll. I was hoping it would be warmed, but again still well made just not my preference. I’ll definitely come back to try something else. It’s always fun to try different flavors. Thank you!!

I’ve had great experiences. The food was flavorful, fresh, and clearly made with care. Everything I ordered came out hot and tasted authentic with well-balanced seasoning. The portion sizes were very generous, especially for the price, which made it feel like a great value. Love this place!!!! This is my favorite restaurant. It has vegan and vegetarian options, so it is catered for anyone. Their patio section is perfect for our fur babies. The staff is very friendly and welcoming from the host, chef and owner herself. I have to go at least once a week , it’s just that good!

I just had a magnificent lunch at Cochinita & Co, featuring their incredible barbacoa (which, sadly, I devoured before snapping a pic!). But the real showstopper…the dish that genuinely deserves its own spotlight…was the side salad.
Let me be clear: this isn’t just a standard side salad. This is a brilliant, layered, and perfectly executed culinary experience. It is so good, it deserves a Michelin star nod!

Best Horchata in town!!!!! Delicious. But really everything we had was spectacular! A total hidden gem. I’m so glad we stoped here to grab lunch, you can tell they cook with love and all their dishes are authentic Mexican cuisine!

If I died today and this was my last meal, I’d die a happy woman. Hands down one of the best meals I’ve had in Houston. Everything tasted incredibly fresh and authentic. I highly recommend checking this place out! Also, I didn’t get a picture of my coffee because I finished it too fast it was that good.

First time here and had a hard time deciding what to get so many delicious looking things. I settled on a quesadilla with mushrooms and I was not disappointed. It was so savory and meaty but meatless. The green sauce and pickled veggies accented it perfectly. I will be back to try more and bring the hubby next time so we can try more dishes.

I hardly give out 5 starts, however, this place definitely deserves it. Everything here was delicious! From the horchata, to Totopos (chips), breakfast burrito and tres leches French toast! As someone who loves Mexican food, you know that the right green sauce can make or break a taco place; this place has amazing green sauce! The chorizo in the breakfast burrito was delicious and authentic ! None of that chef experiment bs, where they add pickles to it like WTH lol (a breakfast spot in montrose). The chorizo here tastes like something they made for me at home, as a kid when I was growing up. The horchata was homemade and creamy and perfect! The tres leches French toast, need I say more ? This place is so good and I will definitely be coming back. I’m so glad we found it!
