I did not take pics of everything but here is what I got and I would reorder every single thing I got.
**Vegan cheese sticks- definitely get them! They were crispy and delicious. It comes with 4 but I only ate 1 the first night. I reheated the rest in the microwave on medium the next day and they were still great.
**Garlic knots- the dough was perfect, the flavor was great and there is a ton of vegan parm on them. The position size isn’t big but would def get them again because they were perfect.
**Mango salad (pictured)- get this! One of my favs! The dressing is sooo flavorful and the toppings were fresh and plentiful. Ate the salad the next day and it was still good which speaks to the quality of the produce.
**Portobello burger (pictured)- the portobello was cooked perfectly. This is a really fresh sandwich and I loved the sprouts on it. Not heavily seasoned but the seasoning was good. Some tomato on this next time would be so good.
**Tampa bay panini (pictured)- really good. I ate this cold 2 days later for lunch and the flavors were good and the crunch of the apples and slaw was still there.
**Crispy cauliflower (pictured)- absolutely must get this! So crispy and the flavor was phenomenal. I ate a few 2 nights later and they still taste good. It has a nice lemongrass flavor.
**Orange protein – I got the soy protein and it was so good. The veggies were nice chunk sized, fresh and they were perfectly cooked and the sauce was great. I will get this every time I come here. They give you a ton of veggies which I appreciate.
**The lotus fruit tea- sooo good. Had my friends try it and they loved it too. If you like tea I would recommend this. It’s sweet but not overly sweet.
We all loved everything we had. I also want to say, I get vegan food from a lot of places and when you get anything fried it’s almost always too greasy or has a burnt oil taste. Not lotus vegan, nothing was greasy or overcooked which made me love everything even more. The fried food being eaten as leftovers and heated in the microwave and it still tasted fantastic tells you something. I really appreciated how fresh everything was and that they didn’t leave any toppings off or forget anything even though they had 2 bigger orders. I live over an hour away or else I would be here weekly but I will def be making special trips there to get their food! The three of us definitely put this as one of our fav vegan restaurants!
Loved the vast menu and portion sizes were great! Staff were friendly and prompt.
We had mozzarella sticks, some pad Thai dishes, a burger, nuggets, spring rolls, vegan ocean wrap, chai tea and smoothies. And more.
My favorites were the ocean wrap and the cheese sticks.
We had the Graham cracker dessert which is kind of like a layered “dirt” pudding cup. It was a lot of cracker and not a lot of the actual dessert but still okay. Only disappointment of the meal.
Would definitely go again.
The menu is huge — they’ve got everything from noodle bowls and soups to vegan wings, wraps, and even pizza. Everything’s 100% plant-based, so you don’t have to double-check for hidden dairy or eggs. The food tastes fresh and clean, not too oily or salty, which is nice if you’re after something lighter.
With easily the largest vegan menu I’ve ever seen, lotus vegan doesn’t disappoint. I went alone today and got the vegan wings and the Brussel sprout curry. The wings are so basic and delicious that my meat eating son would love them. Crispy and not spicy, they are a more delicious chicken tender. They come with a delicious ranch, but I used the house made chilis instead. The Brussel sprout curry, on the other hand, is original and amazing. Brussel sprouts, pineapple, great spice and soy protein, I left out the onions because I hate them, and the rice because I’m avoiding carbs, but she offered brown or white. Delicious and original. The service was fast and friendly and the atmosphere is lovely. Welcoming and kid friendly.
We shared several appetizers and one main course. Husband is a big Sushi fan and while he was sceptical about a vegan version, he still wanted to try it. It did not disappoint, it was delicious. The Steamed Vegetable Dumplings were really good, and while the Crispy Wonton could have benefited from a bit more texture in the filling, they were so good that we ate most of them before thinking of taking a picture.
The Orange Protein dish was one of the best sweet & sour dishes I’ve ever had – so yummy!
Service was friendly and attentive, prices were good and the restaurant was clean and inviting. We’ll definitely be back!
Our second visit was equally great. We had the drumsticks (delicious), Singapore noodles and Orange Protein dish. We rarely order the same dish twice but it’s just so good!
