Came here for my birthday the server was so nice and gave me balloons! This time: arroz con pollo, which was cilantro rice really good; aguadito, both of these dishes had the dark meat chicken which was my favorite. Estofado de pollo was more white meat and I didn’t like it as much this time but it is still really exceptional I’ve had that one a lot. Previously aji de gallina is something really different if you want to try something new. And of course pisco sours I will allways come back for those.
I ordered pickup from Lima Criolla Peruvian Restaurant, and the experience was great from start to finish. The customer service over the phone was excellent—they were friendly, patient, and made the ordering process very easy. Our food was prepared just as requested and was absolutely delicious. You can really taste the authentic Peruvian flavors. I truly appreciate the great service and will definitely be ordering again!

As far as Peruvian food goes, finding a place like this is a godsend. The owners are Peruvian themselves, and you can tell that they pour that identity into the food. They offer everything you’d expect: causa, lomo saltado, roasted chicken, and even chicha morada to drink. Whenever I feel a craving for Peruvian food, I come to Lima Criolla
The Pisco Sour, which normally follows the standard recipe of 3 oz pisco, 1 oz lime juice, 1 oz simple syrup, and 1/2 oz egg white, was poorly prepared — it tasted like lemonade, half the glass was foam, and it was bland. When I asked for a replacement, I was told I could get a “normal” one, but at an extra cost, as if the mistake was mine.
It’s disappointing to see that such a rich and celebrated cuisine isn’t always matched by the service, especially abroad.
Ceviche does not take cilantro and the shrimp looked like it came out of a can, the Tallarin Saltado had very little flavor and the Sirloin was rubbery. For the price we paid, it should have been a lot higher quality ingredients.
The Yucca was dry and the Huancaina had no flavor.
On the plus side, the waitress was friendly, attentive and helpful, the location was clean thus 2 stars.
