Feel like shelling some peanuts and throwing them on the floor like the nasty thing you are? Then this is the place for you.
They were understaffed on the day we went, but the staff were still very friendly and kept service on-point. I had the “chopped steak”, which is really a hamburger patty with shrooms and onions on top. The sweet potato on the side was excellent.
One thing I love about this place is that they don’t hide their alcohol prices and surprise you on the check. It’s all right there on the menu. The prices are reasonable and quantity generous.
They are also very veteran friendly, offering a 10% discount to those who served.

Lunch time. Served cold coffee. Asked for a few minutes to look at menu. Waitress never came back or looked in our direction. Across from us booth cushion was very worn. As food went by it looked good. Been to another Logan’s and it was very good. There are to many good restaurants in Lafayette, Indiana, so we left and went down the street to Olive Garden. When we visit Lafayette we try to go to a different restaurant each time, Management can make or break a restaurant. They really need to update exterior and interior. I hate giving a less than stellar review to any business.

Ordered a kids cheeseburger for my son and this was brought out. What is not shown is that the small burnt burger in the “bun” was 1/2 missing. I kindly asked the manager if we could get a replacement and she responded that the “bread hard to cut”. She took it back and replaced the 1/2 patty with a full one but in the same “bun”. Then I insisted that a full new replacement be brought out, whereafter the manager rolled her eyes and stormed off into the waiters area and began to throw a small tizsy, which we all watched because our table was 2 rows away. She returned once again, threw the plate on the table and said “this is as perfect as I could do”. Lol. Please have your management take some customer service training!!!

My kids and I visited here on a Sunday for lunch. Most of the places we visit for lunch on Sunday are usually pretty busy. Maybe the snow had something to do with that but this place was not busy. The place was clean, service was pretty good. It seemed like they had 2-4 waitresses working. My kids share a 6-8 oz steak meal and I usually get my own 8 oz. We always order medium. Our steaks were not medium, they were well done I would describe. The flavor wasn’t that great to it, tasted burnt in a some places. We still ate them but we prefer the other place much better. The baked sweet potato of mine was very huge which sometimes when they are that big they are not good, but it actually was good. I was surprised to hear the kids liked the rolls at the other place too. I’m not a big fan of the ones here. We frequent the other place more often and probably will continue to do so.

I loved the atmosphere when I walked in and the place was pretty busy so I assumed I had made a good choice to try the place out. Waitress was phenomenal and I made sure to tip well for her prompt and kind service. Ordered the ribs and the waitress brought them out as soon as the order was done, she verified that. The ribs were cold. Kindly let my waitress know and told her I didn’t need them to remake them I just wanted them heated up. There we’re no issues until about 5 hours after I got home when I realized something had food poisoned me. Not saying the place is bad for all people because obviously it’s not if the place was that busy. However I personally will not be returning. And that is my honest review of what I had experienced.

We ate here about a week ago and ordered the top sirloin steak .. and it was about as tough as shoe leather! Now the flavor was good and it was cooked perfectly to our liking but it was just SUPER tough. Fast forward one week and we, again, ate here .. and again ordered the top sirloin .. and this week the steak was ABSOLUTELY PERFECT! Flavorful, cooked perfectly, and just as tender as could be! I confess I have no idea why the steak would be so tough one week and so tender the next .. but I am glad they got their problem corrected! Now as good as the steak was we have to say that the grilled vegetable skewer was TERRIBLE .. and not because the vegetables weren’t good or that they weren’t cooked properly .. but instead because it was WAY TOO SALTY. It was so salty that we couldn’t eat it. We SHOULD have just told the server and had her had the cook staff cooked up a new order but we didn’t. But if you are reading this review and are considering eating there and ordering the grilled vegetable skewer I would highly recommend that you tell your server to have it cooked without all the salt. I just don’t know why they would use so much salt??? It sure doesn’t add to the flavor and it’s also very unhealthy. We will definitely return here to eat because, overall, we like this restaurant and its staff but if we get any unsatisfactory food the next time we eat there we aren’t going to keep quiet .. we’ll speak up and just ask for a replacement to be cooked that corrects any problem.

The chefs did a superb job on our prime rib and sirloin steaks, cooked just the way we ordered. The sides of mac and cheese and veggies were generous and were a meal in themselves. Service was exceptionally fast on a very busy Friday night. The waiter was responsive and kept us replenished with hot rolls and fresh drinks. We ordered strawberry lemonade and blackberry lemonade and we were not disappointed. They were worth the $5 splurge each. I don’t recommend sitting with 30 feet of the front door. On this cold night every time it opened we shivered. The tables at the front of the restaurant are very near the front door. There is a fairly large waiting area for those waiting to be seated, but it stretches through the middle of the restaurant. We were entertained for about 30 minutes watching the chefs work the grill. The full room was qyite noisy but not intolerable. My wife and I had to speak perhaps a little louder then normal. Overall, the meal was great and generous, the price was reasonable ($45 for two without dessert), the atmosphere was party-like and a bit cool, and our experience is worth repeating again soon.

The kitchen manager tried to pull a fast one on me by saying he made a rib eye and it was a strip…. waitress caught it, but was told to take it out to me even though it was wrong cur AND wrong temperature. I refused it. GM came out and apologized and offered another side instead of a discount or anything that would have been valuable to me. In a table with 4 steaks, only 1 was correct temp and cut. Waitress was great! The management, both kitchen and GM wasn’t good. Food tasted good and speed was fine once things were corrected. I’m not a local, but am here for work for 6 months. Won’t be back, to many other GOOD choices.

The restaurant was hot and humid. From other reviews, seems like an ongoing issue. The glass where you can watch them make food was dirty and I noticed the chefs didn’t always wear gloves when preparing and handling food. The women’s bathroom was not the cleanest and it had a weird smell. Our waitress was nice, super friendly, yet had to be reminded of everything. We were there for my birthday and she didn’t even acknowledge it. I tried one of the frozen blue lemonade drinks, it was good, but lots of alcohol. The food was pretty decent. My steak was cooked well, but they forgot my side of rice. The side salad had wilted and brown lettuce, I didn’t eat much of it at all. The food didn’t come out very hot, not sure if it sat for a while, and it brought out by two other servers not our waitress. The peanuts were kind of stale because of the humidity in the air. The waitress was even hot, they were sweating. I didn’t see any manager around, nor did one come around to tables. Overall, not the best birthday dinner, but convenient since across the street from our hotel. I would NOT recommend this location to anyone. There are better choices.
