Fresh, delicious and surprisingly reasonably priced! ❤️ Please try this restaurant if you love seafood. The Hickory Salmon with Tarragon Mustard was scrumptious. The fish was cooked perfectly, had an amazing smoky flavor and the tarragon mustard was a beautiful accompaniment. Our other favorites were their Beer Battered Alaskan Cod, Clam Chowder, Garlicky Jumbo Shrimp Scampi and their Cole Slaw. We’ve definitely added this restaurant to our must-return list!

I love it there my crab cakes was a little cold on the inside they could heat them up with out burning them so I got the to go ..but the rest of the meal was good. I was mot too happy about the crab cakes though I wont ordered them any more… for the record the the part that was hot was super good that why I ask to heat them the middle was really cold.

Really tasty food and great service. Stopped here before a concert for dinner with my family and it was the perfect spot to wait until doors opened.

The food was solid, no real complaints there. They have a diverse menu and the food came out more quickly than I expected. Portions are not bad either, but if you order eggs, and your want bacon and waffles, it gets expensive quickly. The real issue came with service. I was served by the worst waitress in my entire life. I wish I had gotten her name. I would have given her a piece of my mind but I’m told to use caution when people are handling your food. If you choose to eat here, hopefully you get a better waitress.

[08/15/2025] Excellent selection of beer and seafood! The dessert is also a must try. I’d come back again since this was my first time here!

Added 12/19/2025 – Still one of the best seafood place as well as excellent dessert selections!! Definitely a gem!

Stopped here for an early dinner today while visiting the area and loved it. The food was excellent, and the beer (brewed on site) was fresh and tasty. They even brew their own root beer, which was outstanding! The service was friendly and fast, and the atmosphere was comfortable and welcoming.

My first time in Lilys. I drove by first and noticed the reasturant looked busy. I then went in, was given a table fast. Asked the waiter which dish he recommend. I got the salmon and roasted red potatoes vegetables. It was perfect!! Thank You Lilys!

Went there last night for a birthday dinner and although the food was descent, the service left much to be desired. Our server displayed a very passive-aggressive attitude the entire time we were there. I asked for fresh Parmesean for my meal and instead of just bringing more, she felt the need to inform me there was already Parmesean on my plate, but would bring more. Shortly after, the guest of honor noticed a long strand of hair in her meal. When this was brought to the servers attention, she actually reached over another guest to observe the entrée, and instead of just apologizing and taking the meal away, she passively (and somewhat sarcastically) attempted to debate where the hair came from. As we were discussing the matter amongst ourselves, I observed our server giving sideline commentary and laughing about the matter a few feet away. The food was okay, but not good enough to come back for subpar service. I truly expected better from such a long-standing establishment in our community.

It was a Friday night, 6:45-ish, and our first two restaurant picks had 1-hour waits. We called Lily’s and were told we had 15 minutes to get a table for 3 (wife, son, and myself) before they got busy.

We were there in 7.

In a nutshell we were super impressed. Service was quick and friendly (the waitress actually cleared plates from the table throughout the dinner), and the food was great. Lily’s just moved up our list to #1 for our regular Friday night outings.

For appetizers we had the Creole soup and New England clam chowder. We would recommend both. I can’t tell you for certain there’s a hint of nutmeg in the chowder, but my wife is certain. I just thought it tasted fantastic.

For dinner we had blackened-cod fish tacos, the Hickory Charred Salmon w/ Tarragon Mustard (wife substituted garlic-sautéd spinach), and the North Shore Seafood Pasta.

All three dishes were great. I think I was the winner with the North Shore pasta. Shrimp, mussels, and scallops in a decadent white wine cream sauce. WOW. I was the only one that didn’t have left-overs.

Having not been there in years, for dessert we ordered the beer-battered brownie with Ray’s vanilla ice cream, whip cream, and a raspberry sauce we didn’t intend to finish.

But we did. My only explanation is there were three of us and it was a really, really good.

We’ll be visiting Lily’s way more often.

Update 5/3/2024
Another great visit — still surprised Lily’s has such great chips and salsa.

Added pictures for the Garlicky Shrimp Scampi. It tasted terrific and we’re glad it came with grilled bread because it’s criminal to waste the sauce.

The New England Clam Chowder tasted terrific again. I recommend the kitchen stir the soup before serving to remove the skin that forms on top (you can see it in the picture). This happens at home, too, which is why I stir before serving guests.

The star of the Cesar salad was the sesame crusted chicken. The star of the show should have been the Cesar dressing, but the dressing lacked the personality that anchovies give bring. If you order it, I recommend asking for additional dressing on the side.

I dined outside where I could enjoy the active summer night in Royal Oak. Every person I interacted with, from hostess to multiple waiters, were friendly and made sure my party was well attended to. The food came out so fast. I really applaud their kitchen staff because the restaurant was busy. Don’t sleep on the beer here! They’re ahead of their time with brewing beer and they know a thing or two. I enjoyed their IPA.
