Smells great from the outside but entering in the smells turns to be more like old grease. Floors are dirty. Decor is old and out of date. It doesn’t look or feel clean. Don’t accept Apple Pay. Plate price seems high for only getting on me burger and the meat sauce wasn’t spicy enough and was a little watery. Overall it’s okay but not a place I would visit frequently. Staff is polite and they work efficiently and quickly.

My wife and I stopped in on a Monday night around 7 PM. We were new to Rochester and were looking for something good that wouldn’t break the bank. It wasn’t busy, I have no idea why… because the food was AMAZING! Im super surprised its not packed all of the time.
If you are visiting Rochester like we were, I recommend a stop at Schaller’s. Their meat sauce on their burgers is something truly special!

MMMMMM!! GARBAGE PLATES!!!! that is all u need to know. Do yourself a favor and get one ff you’ve never had one. Fries, mac salad, and grounds or dogs Smothered in hot sauce. I’m salivating just thinking about it. Wish they were here in Massachusetts. This is my first stop anytime I’m back in the ROC. Great job staff keep up the hard work.

Places of classic. But kind of showing its age at this point. Could really use a refresh, kids working behind the counter are a bit too loud and social to bother with things like paying attention to customers. It is apparent that you’re not quite clear on what it means to be employed. Always get the meat sauce, or Texas sauce. That’s key when visiting.

Growing up my mother would always bring me and my brothers here on weekends, sometimes even weeknights
We still come here all the time, and now with her grandkids, they LOVE SCHALLER’S just as much as we do lol
This place always feels like home whenever we visit.
The staff is always friendly and welcoming.
The great part about here is that they are always fully staffed and very fast.

Was my first time going into Schaller’s, more of a surprise than anything else. Sometimes a gem falls into ones lap. I ordered the Fish Fry and was not disappointed. I usually do not give a five star rating the first time I eat somewhere. But I have to make an exception this time.
Schaller’s is a place you definitely want to try for the Fish Fry.
The restaurant is clean, the staff are friendly, and the food is great. I’ve been in Rochester for a long time, growing up in Webster, but never stopping here before. I won’t make that mistake again.
I also want to take the time out to thank the person who took my order. Her name is Sam, and she really seems to like working there. Thanks again Sam for the good conversation, and making an old man feel young again, you were my one blessing for the day!
The only request from me is that they update the prices on their website. They are misleading. That was the only downside to my experience.
Again, stop at Schaller’s, you won’t be disappointed. One of the best Fish Fries in Rochester.

The food was ok but a bit pricey. I had a cheese burger, fries, a large cherry coke and ranch. Great ranch and good pickles. Absolute classic that is a past time of me and my papa, who always end up going here. Service was great, atmosphere still feels the same after years. Food wasn’t incredible and wasn’t worth the price but definitely recommend coming here if your coming in from somewhere else
