Earlier today, I marked a bad review but I wish I could take that back. This is such a nice place. The playground is so nice. The food is amazing and the service is great. I recommend the chicken burger and fries with salt packets and a Dr Pepper. That is what I order all the time and it’s always perfected. I see other of you saying that the service is bad and they always messed up the order but they’ve only ever messed up my order once or twice.its not always crowded! Play place is pretty fun.

Horrible disgusting food. Worse mcdonald’s in the 925. They literally microwaved the nuggets. Won’t even answer the phone so I can return this garbage for a refund. There’s a miserable robust girl that works the window and every single time she’s there it’s garbage food and garbage service. If you’re so miserable go work somewhere else no one wants you there with that miserable face.

This location has gone downhill. I use to receive quality service and food. Twice within 4 days…my cheeseburger was not hot, tasted old and no diced onions…this time I asked for extra onions and no pickles thinking it would be freshly made because of the extra request…WRONG…Still wasn’t hot and NO DICED ONIONS AND YOU PUT THE RECIEPT ON THE BURGER THAT SAYS EXTRA ONIONS! And the girl in drive thru taking the order wasn’t very great on her customer service skills either…I gave my order…she doesn’t say anything, what size, what kind of drink, anything else…gives me the total on screen and never says anything…I just assume ok I guess I’ll pull forward. Whoever is managing this place now needs to be fired and some employees along with them. I work hard for my money and expect quality!

This review is regarding the overnight supervisor in charge, this is the individual with the long hair tied in a ponytail. After a couple of years of being his customer in the morning he randomly decided to complain that I give him my rewards number at the window for him to enter into their system. I explained that it’s difficult for me to open the app while I’m driving and that the app takes a long time to load majority of the time and that there is no other person in line behind me, I told him don’t be lazy and don’t make a big deal about it after a couple of years of not having a problem doing this simple task of entering four numbers. He continued to be rude and gave me a look that he was still irritated and pissed off. I’m not risking getting ticket especially if the police are out looking for people speeding down Clayton road with their phone in their hand, I’m also not risking getting into an accident by accidently veering the steering wheel left or right while trying to open up an app because the overnight manager is lazy. Lighten up Sir, I’ve been a customer for a while there’s never been an issue.

Today I decided to treat myself.

McDonald’s on Clayton Road has always been a standout location in the Concord area. The location is spacious, and the workers tend to actually bring food to your table, much like at a real restaurant. I visited with two close friends.

The first thing I noticed upon my entrance was the atmosphere. Although the somewhat strange postmodern aesthetic taken by many fast-food brands in the last decade has peeved some, the Play Place reminded me that I had not, in fact, entered a Bank of America. The kiosks, although unnerving and dystopian, made ordering my Big Mac meal a breeze. Exactly as expected.

My food was brought to my table in just about 6 minutes. The only downside of this service style is that I had to wait without a cup for Diet Coke, which was a harrowing test of my patience. Luckily, each of my items were brought to me in perfect condition. Big Mac, upright and proud. Fries, crispy and fresh. The Diet Coke was a standout, always tasting best from the McDonald’s fountain (which graciously now provides Diet Dr. Pepper).

McDonald’s is usually a five-star experience, deviating little from expectations. Nothing scary, no surprises. Nevertheless, today’s location, service and food was all standout. Five is the highest rating on Google, though.

Absolute dog food. Do yourself a favor and find the nearest garbage dumpster. The food you find there will be like eating at a 5 starr Michelin rated resturant compared to this dump.

Drive though order at 1247 p.m., so its tail end lunch rush hour (apparently jokes on me). For context – I live 4 minutes away. So from picking up the order to first bite was about 12 minutes (you’d expect hot or really warm food right?)

Got a cheeseburger combo and 6 piece nugget. For the low low price of $19.00 (thanks for nothing).

Where do I even begin?

Fries:
Eating cardboard soaked in used motor oil would have tasted better. The fries were COLD, stale, and hard. Absolutely no taste other than they must have been cooked last century. They were also hard like they were cooked at 10 am yesterday and then dug out of the trash can and served. 2 bites and in the garbage they were so disgusting.

Nuggets:
Holy Mary – these things could have been museum quality art sculptures they were so petrified. Again cold, stale and cooked circa 1690.

Seriously- who in their right mind (manager) allowed food that was cooked at the turn of the century to be served. What happened to QUALITY CONTROL.

Burgers:
Just on the downhill slide of being medium warm. At least the pickles and onions tasted fresh. Again the bun was rock hard on one side amd cold as the dead cow they came off of.

Funny how we hear in the news how much money McDonald’s is loosing. We’ll- serving absolute garbage food like this is a certain tactic to bankrupt the place. I knew i should have just went to jack in the box down the street. Sure – could have had the same expirnece food qulaity wise but at least the foods HOT and cooked this decade.

Only saving grace was the very nice drive through lady taking the cash. She gets 5 stars. The one giving the food not so much.

Rude and worse costumer service. Doesn’t even asked if you would like sauce for your order. They just technically shoved my order to my face saying “here.” and when order was checked, it was wrong and they were the once who got mad at me for correcting them

The employees really nice and working very hard. There were two African-American boys about six and seven terrorizing the play area. They were completely unattended. The father arrived like an hour later, asked for a cup for water, and they were taking Coke and other refreshments. They were not eating there and it was pretty bad with this kids. Apparently there’s nobody charge here for that kind of problem.
