Food was BOMB Wings , Ruben Egg Rolls, Irish Nachos (silly name AND delicious)
They have karaoke night too.
We started with a sampler appetizer and some chicken wings. The wings were a standout—crispy, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. Just five minutes after the apps landed, our entrees followed. I went with the fish and chips. The fish was flaky, moist, and refreshingly clean-tasting. While the batter was a bit thick for my preference, the overall dish was satisfying.
Even with the kitchen delay, the service and atmosphere made it a worthwhile visit. If you’re into good food, great wings, and live music, it’s worth checking out—especially if you’re not in a rush.
The food hits that perfect balance between hearty pub classics and scratch‑made quality. The Reuben, Hellfire Burger, and Shepherd’s Pie are standouts, and the Irish fries and fried pickle spears are crowd‑pleasers. Everything tastes fresh, and portions are generous without being over the top.
Their drink selection is another highlight — over a dozen craft beers on tap, solid cocktails, and a beer flight that regulars rave about. Even on busy nights or holidays, the service stays upbeat and efficient, which says a lot about the team running the place.
Live music on weekends adds to the charm, and the pub manages to feel both energetic and cozy at the same time. Whether you’re grabbing a casual lunch, catching a game, or settling in for a late‑night drink, Copper Penny delivers a consistently great experience.
Bottom line: A warm, reliable, and genuinely enjoyable pub — great food, great people, and a great atmosphere right in the heart of Hot Springs.
I had the Guiness fish and chips. The fish was wonderfully juicy with a nice, crisp crust. The slaw was somewhat bland, but the chips made up for it, so it is all good. Americans don’t pull a true B&T, but the two I had were above average.
Skye, the bartender, was attentive and knowledgeable about the area and the changes over the last 10 years. I grew up here, so it was interesting, and I will be driving through the areas she suggested.
If you get to Hot Springs, stop by and have a meal and a B&T or Oatmeal Stout!
The server was very nice, she was the only positive there.
I had the most amazing BLT! It’s named A Damngood BLT and that is no joke. I didn’t get the avocado or egg on it and I asked for crispy bacon. I could have made a meal out of just the bacon because there was so much and it tasted like it was seasoned. It’s definitely big enough to split between 2 people. The picture doesn’t do it justice.
My husband had sweet tai chili wings. He couldn’t believe how good they were. They have several different flavors but he will stick with that one.
Very fun atmosphere. Large dining area and bar with an open dining area. They had a band that consisted of 3 guitar players which was perfect. It wasn’t just unbearably loud. They played songs that everyone should know and could sing along with.
We will definitely be back when we visit Hot Springs again.
