I absolutely love this place! I’m not much of a soccer dude but the atmosphere is great. A lot of that is controlled by Chicago Dave. Excellent bartender and rep for the biz. The food is delicious. I’ve been back twice while traveling from the upper midwest. I CRAVE their chicken sandwiches. I’ll be back very soon. It’s beer time! Kudos to the owner as well. Nice place!

If Chicago Dave at the bar hadn’t helped me order digitally, I probably would have given up and left. The Asteroid Chicken Sandwich and Tots ($16.75) was very good. Close to the Metro.

I have ate here before and it was pretty good bar food but I had to share this specifically lol, I am not sure if DC is just the deadest city ever now but walked in during El classico Spanish super cup final today, First floor is obv all football so bartender sees me looking confused and goes basement is soccer bud. Go down there to 6 people sitting around a tv in the corner with the rest of the basement chairs all up on tables ready to end the day. Walked right out, would not classify this place as a soccer bar what so ever. This review has nothing to do with food just not sure why its stated as a soccer bar on the DC map.

The atmosphere was nice in general. There was a smell and the glassware didn’t seem clean. The doughnut place attached was good. Would be an added benefit to have the donuts heated since it is getting cooler. Staff members were friendly. Menus needed to be cleaned or reprinted.

We stopped in here for breakfast in December. We loved the vibe. They had super friendly staff. The hall was old and modern at the same time. Great menu. They had a to go menu or you could sit and it was a bigger dine in menu. We ordered the tator tots, cheddar biscuit, fried chicken honey breakfast sandwich, maple bacon donut and vanilla donut. Everything was awesome. Great flavors. The water was great with no after taste. The only thing negative about this place was the bathrooms did smell bad. I would go here again when I am up in DC next time.

-2 line for bartender is stupid and ridiculous, at times 10-15 people snaking all over. Get with the times and get a QR code system. I don’t want to come back JUST because of their backwards ordering system. Also, no one ever came to my table. Prices were also nothing good, just typical overpriced.
All that said, the food was pretty good for bar food and came out fast. Just fix your ordering system and improve prices.

Went here over the weekend during peak bloom season and tried some “cherry blossom” beers, surprisingly there weren’t as many IPAS on the menu as I expected.
Great environment, wonderful service and fantastic food. Ordered a spicy chicken sandwich and loaded tots to share with friends
