Tres bon. I loved the beef bourguignon especially but it was all great and tasty. Expensive, but the portion felt large enough. It was easy to want 1 of everything. Be warned to make a reservation online. In late December, we tried to walk in for 2 at opening on Friday night but was immediately turned away as being booked out and rushed out outside. They said to make a reservation 2 days in advance. I looked and found that to not be true, they had openings an hour later for multiple times! Strange. I didn’t see reservations being required, but maybe the host didn’t know about the slots. I also found that the next day, Saturday, had lots of spots open too for both lunch and dinner. In any case, we jumped back in later with a reservation and had no issues the second time.

Authentic classic French brasserie with large selections of menu and wine list.

Everything was delicious. All the appetizers were really good; Pate de Campagne, Salmon Gravlax and Escargot. I would recommend Bouef Bourguignon and Sole Meunier for main course. Dessert was good as well. It was a bit pricey but with high quality food to match.

Service was attentive and friendly. We share all our dishes and it was not a problem.

The restaurant was packed. You definitely need reservation.

Don’t be fooled by the location — this is not a tourist trap but a truly traditional spot. As a Parisian living abroad, I’m picky with French food, and this place exceeded my expectations.

Very friendly, attentive service (thank you, Joachim!) and delicious dishes throughout. The écrevisses gratin and Escargots are a must. And the Santenay from Antoine Olivier is one of the best I’ve ever had. I can’t wait to go back.

See you next year!

Aux Crus de Bourgogne is a satisfying French restaurant in Paris that offers a classic and dependable dining experience.
The snails were well-prepared and quite good. We also tried the mushrooms, which were intense in flavor and very tasty, served in a rich, creamy sauce.
However, I cannot say the same for their special pasta. It was unfortunately quite bland and the sauce was far too heavy, which made it difficult to finish.
Overall, while the starters were excellent, that specific main dish was a disappointment.

This place filled up quick once the restaurant opened. I would recommend pre-booking like we did.

Personally I didn’t like the food I tried here, but this is not an attack on the restaurant. I wanted to try French food that I’ve never tried before and now that I have I can say it’s not for me, but the food was probably cooked to perfection.

I ordered the mushroom vol-au-vent where I didn’t enjoy the sauce. Then I ordered the chicken cooked in wine and morels, and it’s the same sauce! I had no idea they would taste the same 🙁

Anyway, lets talk about the positives. The staff and service was great. We were well looked after. They spoke English to us and provided us an English menu. We loved the escargot, and the beef bourguignon was very generous. The evening ended with profiteroles, which we thought were the best we’ve ever had.

The food here is delicious, and the restaurant is very charming, and just off the busy Rue Montorgueil pedestrian street. We found our server here, Joachim, to be truly exceptional. He made us feel so welcome and went above and beyond to make our dining experience a true pleasure. The food and Joachim were so good that we are making a second visit here during our 10 day vacation in Paris. I think you will enjoy this place. Check out their background on the restaurant website “about” section. The same family has been running this place since 1932 according to their story.

The perfect meal in every way. I started with the escargots which were a delight, then the Beef Bourguignon with purée was just heavenly. The meat melted in my mouth and couldn’t get enough. I barely had space for desert but the waiter recommended the profiteroles so I indulged a little too much. Good thing my hotel wasn’t far because I could barely walk I was so full. The service was
also exceptionnel and super attentive. This is will be my go to place for sure.

Amazing Burgundy restaurant. Very authentic cuisine.

All dishes were great. The wine list is nothing short of amazing. Yes, they have every Burgundy region, and put anything else as “Rest of the World”, even French wine not from Burgundy.

100% recommend this place.

We really enjoyed the whole experience and of course the food. Even if we are a vegan and a vegetarian the staff was ready to prepare dishes for us according to our needs. Everything we ate was so tasty and balanced. The service was really great. The mocktail I had and the wine my husband had were great. Very kind and friendly people serving us is what made the meal even more memorable! We will come back for sure!

I’ve had lunch with my friends today at
Aux Crus de Bourgogne and it was a wonderful experience. We were 20 mins late,
I called the restaurant to notify them worrying they would give the table away, and they comforted me and assured they will hold the space for us. The food was authentic and the service incredible. I was wasn’t sure of my order and the waiter gave a great recommendation. The oefs mayonnaise were spectacular, with the meat terrine. Everything we had was delicious! For mains I had the Dover sole with puree and a salad, and then we had profitroles. They allowed me to take away my leftovers. The atmosphere was vibrant, every table busy. It was such an enjoyable experience, I take great pleasure in writing this review and can’t wait to be back!
