Phoenix BBQ with nothing to hide. At Pork on a Fork, every brisket, rib, and pulled pork is smoked slow, never drowned in sauce. You choose your story, Kansas City Sweet, Carolina Mustard, or our spicy Arizona blend, plus scratch-made sides that taste like home. Quick line at lunch. Easy family dinners after work. Packs built for game day and office catering that actually feeds the whole crew. Locals come back for lean vs. fatty brisket, ribs with real bark, and a team that makes speed feel welcoming. Competition pit roots, neighborhood table spirit. This is barbecue the Valley can count on.
Wood-smoked BBQ ribs, brisket & pulled pork are showcased at this down-home, counter-service outfit.

I hate to say it, but it was average at best. Not sure if they were just having an off day, but they did seem fairly busy for the area.
There was zero seasoning on the pulled pork, brisket, and smoked chicken, which for me was really disappointing. I also ordered a half rack of ribs. They weren’t fall-off-the-bone tender, but they did have decent flavor.
I will give them fairly high marks for the sauces, though. I like a sweeter sauce, and their mustard-based sauce and red sauce were both very good.
We also tried the mac & cheese and the baked beans, and both were just okay. Honestly, the sauces help this place out a lot.

My hubby and I went here for the first time and it was so good! The customer service was THE BEST service I’ve had in a while! We told the lady we had never been there before and she went over and beyond to explain the menu! Everything we ordered was delicious and the brownie and ice cream was good too. Cornbread was perfect for me! Not too sweet and not too bland. My only negative experience was the bathroom needed a little attention. We will most definitely be going back! This place is huge and great for large gatherings and big families. My husband loved all the TVs to watch sports.

So so yummy!! Coming from the Midwest, we love good BBQ, and this place is spot on. We had pulled chicken, pulled pork, and brisket. The bowls are phenomenal! So much food for your money and the service was even better. The staff were so sweet and explained everything in detail. We will absolutely be back!

I visited Pork on a Fork during my 30 minute lunch break, it took about 25 minutes to get my food so unfortunately I had to rush and not savor it. I got the Pulled Pork BBQ bowl with Mac and Cheese and Baked beans, all of it was very tasty, however for 18 dollars without a drink, it’s pretty steep for decent barbecue. Plenty of space to sit and the place is just like how I remember Freon visiting as a kid.

Good spot for a quick lunch or dinner. You order at the counter and the staff is friendly and helpful. I got a bowl and the portion size was solid. Kids chicken tenders with mac and cheese were a hit too. Casual vibe so it works well for a quick bite with coworkers.

I was at work when the owners came in, and they were super friendly told me to go to here, I did and hands down the best rootbeer ive had in a while, the portions are massive easily filling and the midwest monster has such a good flavor and tenderness, I will be coming back multiple times.

On the hunt for some amazing BBQ today and we hit the jackpot when we walked into Pork on a Fork. If I’d of just been driving by I might of missed this place located amongst an industrial park. Lucky for me I knew where I was headed. Good news for you if you are a passer by they have many signs near the street to hopefully get some customers. Parking lot size is decent and we didn’t have an issue. Once inside we were greeted instantly. I will admit I was a bit taken aback by the guy standing right in front of the entry ready to take an order; not behind a counter, but quite literally at the entrance. There is a good size menu on the wall above to help you choose. My eyes instantly locked on the Midwest Monster sandwich, it included shredded pork and brisket, included coleslaw and jalapeños, yes please. They have a regular size or a mini, I chose the mini. It came with two sides so I chose green beans and coleslaw. My husband chose the Big Boy meal which includes all four meats and two sides. He added Mac n cheese and baked beans. We were given a number and told they would bring everything to us. There is a fountain drink station up front then from there there is a hallway that leads you to a good size seating area. This is definitely a happening lunch spot. Everyone was all smiles and seemed to be enjoying themselves. Our food arrived quickly from who’d I assume was either the owner or manager. He was awesome, friendly and we even laughed at his comment about my husband daring to wear a white shirt into a bbq place. (Good news he didn’t spill a thing) . Not only did everything smell divine, but it was all so delicious. I can’t even put my finger on what was our favorite because we loved it all. I’d say front runners were the brisket which was still moist, Smokey flavor and every bite was phenomenal. I love pulled pork sandwiches, but this new take with the monster was what I didn’t know I’f been missing. The kick from the jalapeño and added brisket was amazing. The green beans by far were our fave, followed up by the coleslaw, baked beans then Mac n cheese. All were great, but we found the green beans best. We also noticed a pic with the owner and guy fieri from Diners, Drive in and Dives. The vibe was great, clean place, fast and friendly service and the food was too notch. We’re already talking about going back and trying so much more! My only regret it I didn’t have any left overs ha ha .

I had tried Pork on a Fork years ago when it was at 20th street and Camelback and tried it again years later it was just as good. The Mac and cheese is very very cheesy and the Mac salad is good. I didn’t care for the beans but I’m sure that’s just a personal preference. The meat is good and you have several options. As with all BBQ it’s not the cheapest meal but heck hardly anything is anymore. It’s in an industrial area so that is surprising but the inside is nice and roomy. I would suggest giving them a try.

I think the atmosphere seemed pretty cool inside. When my meats were wrapped in foil, they were just placed under a heat lamp for around seven minutes while I waited for other customers to wrap up their orders. I think it would’ve been smarter to wait until everything would’ve been done at once rather than having the meat just sitting around waiting. When I got home, everything tasted pretty basic. From the brisket, sausage, chicken and pork. The chicken tasted as if a bunch of random seasonings were just put on it. I also had a side of mac & cheese, which was pretty basic as well. They sprinkle seasoning on top, but after that, it tasted like regular mac & cheese. I hate to give such a low score, but just my honest opinion and I would not recommend it. Also, it’s advertised that the four meat big boy comes with two rolls, but you’re not given them unless you ask for them.

Great bbq spot located in an office building. Order at the counter and take it to the table from the registers. Really great options for everyone! I had the pulled pork with mac and cheese and fries. My friend had the brisket bowl with green beans and mac and cheese. Three different sauce options to choose from at the table. I liked it all.
