The restaurant was nice and clean. The cashier was friendly. The chicken was underwhelming. I’ve never seen chicken wings so small, additionally, one of my wings had feathers on it, which leads me to believe it was not properly cleaned. The chicken was also very salty to my palate. I probably won’t return abs continue to support the Harold’s that I frequent. Thanks but no thanks

I ordered the 1/4 white chicken meal and if you’re from Chicago, you already know it’s gotta be saltpeppermildsauce & fried hard!! It took around 35 minutes. I came in at 12:30pm on a Saturday. It wasn’t too busy, but they did have call in orders as well. I was skeptical due to the mixed reviews, but I was craving Harold’s for so long. It was fried hard just like I like it, nice and hot, the breast was juicy and you can see the pepper…the only thing I disliked was that they were a bit stingy with the sauce. Other than that, it was and I’ll definitely be back.

Chicken not salty and the fish seasoned well. However the catfish was very small/puny for $10 lunch special. If they work on that, this business will up their revenue. They have the taste of Harold’s.

I have been going to this location for two years and I am not sure if they are under new ownership but the last two times I went…my catfish was tiny as if it were a kid’s meal. This just happened to me yesterday as well. I paid $9.50 for catfish meal and this is what they gave me. You have got to be kidding me. I absolutely did not get my money’s worth and likely will be going to another location.

This was my family and I first time here and the food and service was amazing. The people were extremely nice and it was so much food. We got the family meal with the wings, fish, fries and coleslaw with the special sauce and it was very good. I would definitely recommend and return my next time in Chicago.

My friend loves Harold’s Chicken,however this particular franchise was not so good.. they had no fish. The wait time was about 30 and the food was not the best.. I asked to have sauce out in the side. However it was based all on my fries which turned them very soggy.. not one of my favorite restaurants..

Idk if people in Chicago ever been to a real chicken spot but this ain’t it. The wings are mostly skin but that’s not what bothered me. I ordered 10 wings and fries and I didn’t check my food until I got home which was a big mistake. They put ketchup on my fries WITHOUT asking me. And tbh that’s not anything I’ve ever heard of a restaurant asking in the first place. I’d like to think people would want to put their own ketchup on the fries. It was so much ketchup that it was on the chicken too. Never going back here again. We make way better wings in Memphis at the gas station.

I previously gave this place good reviews 10 years ago, BUT I guess we have highs and lows. This is a low point. I ordered online, for pickup in 45 minutes. Waited for over an hour of waiting after the pickup time, watched 3 walk in orders coming out ahead of mine, which is completely unacceptable. The cashier couldn’t follow up with the kitchen and seemed overwhelmed. No operating efficiency.

Terrible experience. I waited 57 minutes for my food. When I received my food, the fries were old, cold and burnt. The wings were mildly warm and soggy. The catfish was good and fresh.
