Option of dining-in, takeout, or drive through. Authentic Carolina BBQ chicken, popcorn shrimp, hush puppies, fries, and coleslaw. Food tasted great!! Nicely movie star themed wall. Floor was a little dirty but deffinently a local favorite. Large plates of food enough for two adults to share.

First time customer, in a word WOW, the chicken strips I had were plump, moist and tasty! After ordering my lunch was brought out to me! The price was great and the portions were excellent! The cashier was very helpful in guiding me thu my order and her suggestion was spot on. When I’m in the area again this is my first stop! Watch for updates of my next visits!!

This place is great with really good fried chicken and pulled pork. You get a large portion and it comes with two sides and hush puppies. Staff is really friendly and you get the food quick.

Very good family restaurant. They had the well known NC pulled pork sandwich. A bit heavy on the vinegar sauce but that’s the local flavor. Be sure to ask for sauce or you may not get any. The chicken was good too. Hush puppies well sized and filling. Well decorated restaurant with clean bathrooms, and more than twice the seating pictured.

We waited over 30 minutes for 2 mostly empty plate of popcorn shrimp and 2 tender plates. I definitely would not recommend stopping at this particular Smithfield’s. The taste of the food was good the quantity did match the cost.

Smithfield Chicken chicken and biscuit. Chain, it’s one of the most well run business I’ve ever seen. They’re always clean. The food is always good. It always does me because the see managers who care and have hired young energetic employees.

This was my second time stopping in at the Smithfield Chicken and BBQ in Henderson North Carolina. I ordered a medium BBQ plate sizes was great for the price paid, barbecue didn’t have quite enough flavor to suit me. What really would have made my experience more enjoyable if the cashier had been more friendlier.

I ate at Smithfield’s everyday well I did a job out of town. I sure wish we had a Smithfield’s where I live and the employees to go along with it. They went out of their way to make me feel so welcome. Keep up the great work guys

Well, I’ve been in town for about a week for work, and drove by this place about three different times. Finally, I said, let’s go! And boy am I glad I did!!! Fried chicken, amazing! Four piece chicken meal with hush puppies, And I added a side order of shrimp. I don’t know what it is, but they are breaded deadly! So tasty, I got that little bit of Cajun style spice in it, little baby shrimp fried to perfection. I also got a size small pint or half a pint of coleslaw salad, which honestly was better than KFC! Puppies, you can’t go wrong with hush puppies. For a nice southern style deep fried chicken, that’s tasty moist and fresh, you can’t go wrong with Smithfield! Will definitely be back, if I’m back in town.
