The Veredictine
I recently tried Walnut Grill and had a mixed experience. The decor is lovely and creates a nice atmosphere, but unfortunately, the food didn’t live up to expectations. I ordered the quesadilla, hoping for a healthy option, but it turned out to be too sweet for my taste. The crab cakes were small, and the presentation didn’t justify the price. Overall, the food left much to be desired. I hope they can improve in these areas, as the ambiance is nice.

Took my wife here for her birthday. We sat on the patio and it’s nice that they don’t allow smoking out there. Hostess was sweet and our waiter was very nice as well. He checked on us several times and kept our drinks full. Pacing of the meal felt good.
Prices are a bit higher than we’re used to, so this will have to be a special occasion place. But I’m sure we’ll be back.

Hubs and i walked in for a late lunch at 2:40 in the afternoon. Hostess asked if we had reservation when I told her “no” she said they were not taking any walk ins…even though there were a half dozen empty two person booths. The energy overall was mildly confusing: big screen test with low lights i associated with an intimate atmosphere. Guess they could not decide if they were fine dining or a sports bar where one could be comfortable throwing peanut shells on the floor. Guess we’ll never know about the quality of food, because I don’t plan to return.

Loved it. Wish I thought to take photos. Had Shrimp Spiedini with wild rice. Both extremely tasty. Best wild rice pilaf I ever had. Layers of flavors, almonds, cranberries, green onion, carrot and herbs. So good. Hubby had the beef tenderloin medallions, also delicious. Besides a full regular menu, they offered special Valentine’s Day drinks, starters, entrees, and desserts making the evening extra special. We liked everything about this place and plan to return soon.

Been here twice in two days with different groups because it is centrally located with yummy food and great casual cocktails. We’ve had the cobb salad, cottage pie, walnut crusted salmon, and creamy wild mushroom chicken. Cottage pie was a little bland but still great on a chilly evening. Everything else was good. Really enjoy the frujito.

I finally got to go here recently. And everything was fantastic. Service was great food was outstanding. We didn’t get to order a lot because we were in hurry. But they were fast and the food we did get was wonderful. So I will definitely be going back.

Many of the plates and silverware were dirty. The little sign on the table had food and dust caked on it. The salad came to us wet which dressing was on the side so it was very clear the lettuce was old. It also tasted dirty. Food was not worth the money at all. May have been a great place at one time but I threw out my leftovers when I got home not wanting to risk eating food that was prepared in a dirty kitchen. The waitress was very kind and we did make sure she was taken care of but will never return to eat. would rather got a burger from a fast food place.

Our server was awesome. My group of 5 were impressed with the little robot that helps deliver food to tables. That gives me confidence that my food will arrive fresh. We shared a delicious artichoke spinach dip that had plenty of artichoke in it. The fried brussel sprouts tasted delicious with a balsamic dressing and blue cheese. For an entree, I had a strawberry salad with almonds and I added grilled chicken. All the salads sounded delicious. I’d probably try the Cobb salad next time.

Walnut Grill catered my daughters wedding Sept 2025 and we had no complaints! The food was delicious, reasonably priced compared to other caterers and their team was terrific. Many guests commented on how the servers were so nice and helpful. Definitely would recommend.
