We went to this McDonald’s location a week ago. When I ordered the food at the kiosk the terminal to pay was busted (picture 1). They got half of our order wrong. My kid’s Happy Meal has chicken nuggets instead of the hamburger and my double cheese burger was a single cheeseburger. While waiting I noticed that there was one of the machines directly dripping in the floor. I guess that is melted ice cream. I reported these kind of issues to McDonald’s directly but they have done nothing.

Staff is horrible. No one would wait on the front counter and the employees were swearing at each other. I will never go to this McDonald’s again. And neither will the other guests that got tired of waiting. Manager didn’t seem to care as she swore at one customer that was upset about the service. Can’t wait for Culver’s to run them to the ground.

This place at night often looks like this, you can tell how things are going to be based on how it looks when you enter. The morning staff has it way more appropriate. They clear off the screen without having bagged the food. They are not even trying. These employees on this shift and this day must originally be from the McDonald’s by Coralridge and if so that was a huge mistake. The food should have been done at 7:37, instead they took an additional 5 minutes. Then acted all high and mighty when they finally did back the items, wanted me to verify the number. Which had the food not been sitting there for over 7 minutes I wouldn’t had a problem. You can’t fix who’s over in charge of the shift they need to be replaced. The attitude from the front end staff is ridiculous. I’ll be calling the GM, the DM and corporate in the morning. On a simple order of two large fries and two McDoubles. They forgot one large fry and the other was dumped in the bag.

Gave them 15 minute heads up with a mobile order only to sit in the driveway for 15 more minutes. 30 MINUTES wait for “fast” food. No cars were in front of me prior to pulling in, employees just standing around inside the window. Huge line formed

Edit: came back again. ordered inside for 2 happy meals from kiosk. Took 27 minutes to get them. Staff was rude and ignored.

This McDonald’s is poorly managed. Service is slow, my mobile orders picked up in the drive thru are wrong. Today, I ordered two sandwiches using the mobile app with a drive thru pickup. They gave me 1 sandwich and chicken strips. Last time I went to the same McDonald’s, I waited in the drive thru for 10 minutes and saw only 1 car move. I left the line and canceled my order. As I drove around to the drive thru windows, there were no cars there, but both drive thru lanes were full waiting to put in their orders. Don’t waste your time with this place.

Edit: Decided to give them another try. Did dine in. We didn’t order anything too crazy. A couple burgers, and a kids meal. We ended up waiting 20 minutes for our food. At that point, we should have just gone to a sit down restaurant. It’s called fast food for a reason. I will say, the workers were all super friendly, just service sucks. 1 star stands. -End edit
Giving them 1 star because the wait is always horrendous for drive through and their ice cream machine has been “out of order” for at least 6 months now, probably more.

The person who took my order was extremely polite and friendly. If only I knew that was going to be the high point of this experience. They are always out of everything. I asked for ANY of 3 different sauces. They rudely said they were out. OF ALL OF THEIR SAUCES. Management needs to get this place under control. Either by ensuring inventory levels or asking their employees to be honest and just go open the new damn box of sauce.

I was a bystander who noticed an order that was for a seated customer was being announced as a to go…. But he had his seat # and so did that ticket, and was told to “move it and pay attention we have more orders to do!” I don’t see why the worker need to make a seated order make themselves get the food. Wouldn’t it be wise to tell them at the kiosk or cashier that we only can handle to go orders?

Honestly being generous with the 2 stars. Obviously they are a large company and could care less about reviews. Nonetheless I feel the need to leave a review after 5x having bad experiences. I moved to north liberty three months ago. My son loves McDonalds and I love McCafe. We don’t eat there often maybe once every other week. We’ve had over 5 orders messed up in that time. Once had family visiting and was placing a large order the worker said “omg” when I was ordering more things. Today they messed up a simple coffee order. It’s always something. This has got to be one of the worst McDonald’s I’ve ever been to. The staff looks exhausted and miserable to be at work.
