Very easy to make the reservation on google map. The restaurant is big and the opening time is very suitable for tourists, even we wanted to get meal at 4:45pm.

We ordered one Marinara pizza, one baked seafood pasta, one carbonara and a steak to share.

The portion is good in general, perhaps the pizza could be slightly bigger. The taste is up to standard. In fact the house wine is delicious. Service is also up to standard, just like in the UK.

The restaurants could take in quite some guests, providing indoor and outdoor dining options, if you are a large group, this is a very good option. It is also kids friendly, they provide high chairs. Many families dined here while we were there.

We really enjoyed our first meal in Rome this year. In the end, we paid €69.5 for a family of three.

One of the best food we have tried in Rome.
We eat there for 4 consecutive days, tried more “hyped” restaurants and we got a bit disappointed tbh, I would suggest to not get tricked by tiktok and give a chance to this restaurant.
Food was amazing in all 4 days(photos only from 2)
Stuff was very polite and they give us every time some small shots at the end.
Price tbh i did not check.. but the food was amazing.
I recommend the pizza, it is amazing.

I’ve been to this establishment twice, once the first time I came to Rome and immediately the second time. The spicy octopus spaghetti is to die for. Genuinely the best meal I put in my mouth the entire time backpacking through Europe across 19 countries. The mix of beautiful soft pasta, perfectly cooked octopus and then the hint of spice that isn’t too over bearing all complimented so well by the red sauce. Genuinely the best food I’ve had while in Italy and I’ve been to around 20-30 restaurants across 5 cities. A must visit, and I will be going back here before I leave Rome.

One of the Best Places We Ate at in Italy!

We spent nearly a week and a half traveling through Italy, and San Lorenzo Saltimbocca was hands down one of the best restaurants we visited. The food was absolutely incredible – truly mind-blowing!

The portions were huge, everything tasted super fresh, and you could tell the ingredients were top quality. And the focaccia… oh my God – warm, soft, straight from the oven, fluffy and full of flavor. Honestly, one of the best focaccias we’ve ever had!

The staff was also really friendly and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better.

I 100% recommend this place. If you’re in the area, don’t miss it – you won’t regret it!

Oh my goodness! What delicious food, drinks and a great embiance. The gluten free pasta was also fire!

If considering a side dish, the spinach is some of the best I’ve tried in my life!

The food was great but the service was terrible. We waited a long time for somebody to take the order, the waiter’s English was bad, we had to ask for the bill two times and even though we asked to pay by card we had to use cash

We stumbled upon Saltimbocca San Lorenzo on our first night in Rome, and it turned out to be one of the best surprises of our trip. The food was absolutely delicious — from rich pastas to perfectly baked pizzas. As a lovely touch, they even offered us complimentary cherry liqueur.

The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, with a true local vibe. It felt like we were regulars, not just visitors. No crowds of tourists here — mostly locals enjoying a great meal. Highly recommended for an authentic Roman dining experience

Great, super italian in look, taste, ambiance, menu, and general treatment by the staff. Well located in the San Lorenzo area, with lots of seating options inside and outside. Varied menu, fast service, savory food, and even t-shirts for sale from the venue. Prices are quite ok, not a tourist trap at all

Tourist trap 100%. They are beckoning to every person walking by. Everything was overloaded with salt, especially the Rigatoni and the steak. Please avoid, I can’t understand why people think is the best pasta they’ve had. Go to somewhere like CiPASSO instead.

Short: Disappointing experience. Food is not more then okay, Saltimbocca even bad, service bad and no authentic italian experience at all.

Went outside of the city center to get a more local experience but it was the opposite. Staff was suprised if you order primi and secundi, food came within a few minutes and everything felt rushed. Not the italian way i know.

Aside from that: Service was bad. Took a long time to order, primi arrived 2 mintutes after the starter and got cold, and after the brought the check it took 15 minutes to pay.
Food was disappointing as well. The gnocchi were okay, but you get way better ones around. The Saltimbocca, the dish the restaurant is named after, was not good at all. Way to much sauce, you could even taste the meat, prosciutto or sage. On top sauce wasn’t even good.
