Seriously Try this place! Food is fantastic, mostly everything is seasoned perfectly! Portions were worth the amount you spend! You get what you pay for here, quality and portion sizes! The atmosphere feels like a mid western steam punk shop. It’s an experience definitely worth going to. [Im almost certain they use a soux vei machine when cooking your meat, that way you get the perfect temperature every time then to get the crust i do believe they put it through the broiler real quick to get a nice sear and not burned char grill marks]. Seriously they let the meat shine, seasonings most likely just salt and not super over bearing. If you had the choice between a bar vibe or a home feeling vibe Virgs hands down bars are over rated. Choice between frozen meat versus fresh meat go with Virgs. Virgs has fresh meat accept for their sea food options but hey cant win them all. If you like fish sorry Virgs is not the right place, I’d say go to the Outpost in Grantsville, you get yhe most bangers for your buck at both places. Definitely try out Virgs in Tooele its worth the money and its affordable

My son and I just moved to Tooele and tried Virgs for the first time today. I was pleasantly surprised how good this place is. The food was so good. I got a turkey avocado sandwich. The bread was soft, and so delicious, my son got French toast and he said it was one of the best he’s had. The French fries were great as well. The restaurant was decorated so adorable for Christmas. Our waiter (Katie) was a delightful person. She was the perfect amount of attentive. She obviously has regulars and seeing her interact with other customers made me smile. We will be going back regularly. Oh also the price was not bad and you get quite a bit of food.

Huge cut fries, tasty burgers, massive smothered burritos, gyros – everything was great! The veggie stew was a bit on the watery side, but still delicious. Staff and service is always smiling and super kind, drinks were always full. Prices are reasonable as well for what you get. Recommended if you just want great comfort food, and great Mexican food.

Virges is one of my favorite spots to visit. I’ve truly enjoyed everything I’ve tried here. Their hamburgers and smothered breakfast burrito are standout favorites. Virges does a great job of combining both quality and quantity.

I had to update my review (10/10/24). We stopped for lunch today and the service was poor. I ordered onion rings with my meal. She brought out all our food, except the o rings. She asked if we needed anything else, I said just the onion rings. We all finished eating without her coming out to check on us or bring the onion rings. She finally came back and asked if we needed anything else. We said just some to go boxes and the bill. I said, please make sure the onion rings aren’t on there, she said ok. She returned with boxes and the bill. She did apologize and said it was her fault the o rings never arrived. The food was good today, I’ll give them that. I don’t think we’ll be back any time soon.
Stopped by for supper the other night while visiting family. It’s a fun atmosphere and the service was great!
I had the fish and chips, well tater tots. The tots were awesome! They were nice and crispy. The fish was so so. I wouldn’t order it again. The slaw is seriously lacking.
Another person in our party had the fish tacos. She said they were excellent! They looked amazing.
Another had a ginormous bacon cheeseburger. It was HUGE and delicious.
The other person in our party had the sausage gravy and biscuits and a waffle. It was very good as well. The gravy was super.
We will definitely be back.

Came here with my grandparents who are huge fans – they come every week. All the servers, and even cleaners were so nice. The menu is huge and between all of us, we had very different things. But everything was SO good. A really great family restaurant, highly recommend.

I usually get the big bird, half/half gravy, over easy eggs. It is always cooked very well. Its cook to order and will burn the he’ll out of your mouth if you dont let it cool.
BTW its huge, it covers the entire plate!
The server girls talk local, are sweet as sugar, and are always nice. The service is great imo. One of the reasons its so good.
I’ve had most everything from the menu at one time or another. The omelets are alway on point. The burritos are gigantic!!! Like full grown farm boy size.
While some will say its expensive, for the portions and service, its cheap imo.
