Food was pretty good,but Ive been to rib joints in Texas,Mississippi and Alabama and the portions are on the low side and for the same prices as those other bbq joints. Our order wasn’t correct either,but we noticed too late to go back and get it taken care of
The baby back ribs were pretty spot on and had a good smoked flavor. They didn’t taste like oven ribs that were tossed on a grill for a few minutes. They seemed liked they were smoked for hours. The brisket had a good ring on them and it was tender. They gave me a good slice and no fat cap so that was awesome.
Service was pretty good too. Its the best BBq Ive had in Louisiana

I ordered leg quarter plate. But was out of leg quarters at that time. So I ordered breast quarter with Mac and cheese and baked beans. When I got home I removed the meat off of the breast quarter. It was mostly bone not enough meat at all! I also ordered bread pudding. The bread pudding was not 100% tonight. Now keep in mind i ordered bread pudding before and it was always so good. I was just not happy with my meal tonight. But the service was GREAT! We’ll definitely be back to eat there tonight just unhappy with my order

The Mac n cheese bites were so tasty! We also got the three meat plate. The turkey was super moist, the pulled pork so juicy and flavorful , and the brisket so tender. For sides we went with Mac n cheese and green beans. I would say this was so filling and yummy!

The 3rd and last time spending good money on subpar BBQ just to get the rudest service in town. When you walk in to the place just to be asked, “what do you want” is ridiculous. The first experience rude service. The second experience even more rude service. The third experience even more rude service. When is the owner going to take true ownership of the lack of professionalism his employees give to the customers? Do they realize or care that they are representing their business? Well you have lost my whole family as customers and we are more than happy to drive to Thibodaux from now on. Also, you might want to start double-checking whoever’s taking the to-go orders because this is also the third time that everything has been wrong.

The staff here was friendly and accommodating for our group of 9. They waited until all the orders were completed and brought them out all at one time to the table. It was really nice to have friendly service.
The food is delicious! I had the brisket sandwich with mac and cheese and a soft drink for $12. The burgers are MASSIVE and were great. The chicken was juicy and the ribs were great too. You cannot go wrong with anything you order here. The portion sizes are great for the price you pay and it’s much better than a chain fast food option.
Definitely the place to eat if you are in town. It’s located down the street from the another must see place, the Regional Militay Museum.

Ordered Thanksgiving package. When I got home with my turkey it was 7lbs. They tell you the turkey is suppose to be average 14 lbs. They don’t tell you it is 14 lbs before you cook it. I spoke with Stephanie and she told me to bring the turkey back and she would give me a bigger turkey. Said that they want their customers to be happy. I get there and all she tells me is she googled it and that turkeys lose 1/2 their weight when they are cooked. So I drove their for nothing. This customer is not even close to being happy.
