This is my second time here and both times has been great. I’m born and raised here in Cayce, so I love the vibe and location! Props to the chef fr. My first visit I got jerk chicken, Mac, and collards. No complaints. This time I got the Rasta pasta, excellent flavor but a lil messy which is ok! I love spicy food and honestly expected it to be spicier but it still had great flavor. The people there are welcoming and security makes me feel safe! The parking could be a slight issue, but as long as you’re not in the road or in nobody’s way of getting out your fine. I will be back ↕️

I placed an order for all flats and paid the upcharge specifically for that selection. Instead, I received multiple drum pieces and wing tips, along with several overly crusted pieces that were hard and arrived cold.
I have ordered the same item multiple times this week, and previous orders were consistent in taste and preparation. This order was not.
The only difference this time was that I included a note asking that food instructions be followed due to prior issues. While I cannot determine intent, the decline in quality and failure to honor the paid modification is concerning for the sudden changes in quality, and the inconsistency.
When customers pay an upcharge for specific preparation, they should receive exactly what was ordered. I am documenting this discrepancy and expect it to be reviewed appropriately.
As a repeat customer, I expect consistent preparation and proper food handling standards. I am documenting this experience and hope management reviews it carefully. Situations involving inconsistent food quality and temperature should be taken seriously.
I would appreciate prompt resolution.

Whewww, it’s a no for me. My friend just brought me this plate after giving birth and finally being able to eat real food for the first time and it just pissed me off! The block of mac & cheese was salty and crunchy. The oxtails were tough and salty. The cabbage was just okay though. I thought she was going to Calabash but she said she didn’t know where it was. I should’ve specified where I wanted my oxtails from. I can’t even finish it but I am thankful that she thought of me and did something nice for me.

Purchased Oxtail meal ( cabbage, rice and peas), curry goat ( Mac n cheese, collard greens) and chicken wings through Postmates. The curry goat was so salty couldn’t eat, wings were cold and old, and my daughter(16) and grandson (5) liked the oxtails but after eating half the plate she began vomiting, then my grandson complained of not feeling well and begin vomiting. I called and explained situation, the lady said she would have to check as the day shift didn’t say anything and she apologized. I appreciate the apology but I will never eat here again. Worse $50 I’ve every spent.

Would have loved larger oxtail to taste the actual meat rather than fat or bone…portion although paid for small plate did not equate to what I received. But it did have Flavor…ie 3 rating.

Though the food might be good, the 2 times I have been and placed orders both times they have forgotten food in my orders and when I asked for a replacement from the first time there was “no note”; so they didn’t replace what I paid for and they forgot to give me. I will never go back and I highly suggest you save your money because some of it will be wasted due to forgotten items.

This place is a culinary gem that hits all the right notes. The fried mushrooms are a perfect starter—crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and packed with flavor. Moving on to the main course, the brown stew is an absolute delight. The peas and rice are cooked to perfection, complementing the brown stew beautifully. The cabbage is tender and seasoned just right, adding a refreshing crunch to your plate. And to top it all off, the red velvet cake is a showstopper. It’s moist, rich, and has a delightful cream cheese frosting that will leave you wanting more.
The Reggae Grill truly knows how to deliver an exceptional dining experience. Highly recommended!

We decided to visit Reggae Grill for some curry goat, we ordered 3 curry goat dinners and a Curry goat roti dinner, The roti was warmed in the microwave and was rubbery not good at all the goat as mostly bones barely any meat, the cabbage was cold the greens are canned not potatoes on the goat and the goat was not tender highly disappointed I’m from Florida and I’ve had curry goat plenty of times at different spots I have NEVER ran into this many bones on one plate Food not good at all will not EVER try again not worth the hype!

The food is about as close as you’re going to get to Jamaican food in West Columbia. It’s pretty good but Nikki there makes a really good. Bob Marley drink. just had the rasta pasta for the first time. Yesssss . I think I have enough for two more meals. Just wish it was wheat pasta.
