During our two months in Belgium, there were only three restaurants we returned to more than once, and Rugbyman Two was one of them. Located in the charming St. Catherine Square, it consistently delivered an outstanding experience.
The staff and service are exceptional, but the food is truly what sets this place apart, fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. We always opted for the menu, and it never disappointed.
You can’t go wrong with the oysters or the tuna carpaccio, both impeccably fresh. The Lobster Rugbyman is rich and full of flavor, and for dessert, the Strawberry Melba or the cheesecake are must-tries. My wife always chose the Melba, while I couldn’t resist the cheesecake—light, smooth, and easily one of the best I’ve had.
We were never disappointed. Highly recommended—definitely give it a try.

Returned here after some years. And it was the best choice we could have made. Great quality of food (though fish soup became less thick and cannot be considered as a full meal as it was before), great service, great atmosphere. They also seem to maintain price level compare to years ago that brought them closer to average pricing. Totally recommend

Great food and very good taste. But the waiting time was far too long. One hour before first serving. And long time for dessert and tea. And then long long time for getting the bill…. Very crowded inside. No toilet paper in the toilet.

Dined here on our first night in Brussels and it was as my wife put it “ridiculously good”. The garlic prawns were amazing and equally so was the lobster with champagne and truffle. Match this with a bottle of Riesling and you will not be disappointed. We returned on our final night and the mussels with garlic and cream were outstanding.. Service on both nights went above and beyond. We can’t wait for our next trip so we can return again.!

I highly recommend this place. The food was excellent, I got their lunch special (1kg of mussels, fries and a drink). The mussels were huge, delicious and plentiful. The fries were crispy and stood out compared to other places that serve the same dish. The service was impeccable, Sohail was extremely warm and attentive. Thank you again! I’ve been there before many times and this consistency in delivery makes this place an effortless recommendation. A must for any lover of seafood or Belgian food

Wow…what a fantastic place! We had the 26.€ menu of the day and it was delicious. I had the fish soup, fish kebab and chocolate mousse and they were really high quality. The service was excellent, and the front of house genuinely friendly. Totally recommend Rugbyman No 2, great value for money, great food and great service (do not confuse it with the other Rugbyman 1 restaurant).

Because of the steak, down from 4 stars to 3 stars. Rainy day, wanted mussels for dinner. All indoor seats were reserved, sat outside in the rain and chilling temperature. Restaurant provided blankets, so we stayed warm. Mussels cooked Chilean style, very fresh and tasted really good, onion and celery so sweet. The Sea-bass was fresh too and cooked just right, loved the freshness and simple seasoning. Now the failure, the steak; We ordered medium rare but it came medium, that mistake was good because the meat was so tough! Pull and chew, much struggle to eat it! The red wine sauce that came with the steak was tasteful but didn’t help the meat. Very disappointing steak I have in Europe. Hope they would improve.
