I just went there maybe 5 min ago I came back to work to eat because I went on my lunch break, hadn’t been to a mcalisters in a while thought why not.
I got the Take 2 salad and soup the salad is pretty good but the potato soup was very watery not thick at all and a bit flavorless plus took a while for me to get it.

My son and I like McAlister’s Deli and used to go to another one in the city where we lived. We live near Cedar Hill now and stopped by for dinner tonight! The food is so good. The service was great! Jackson took very good care of us when he took our order. The manager Haxnie was super friendly and made sure our food was exactly how we wanted it.

It’s unfortunate that I write this because I really enjoy the food.
As information, turns out the “curb side” orders are not “curb side” anymore. You have to go in to the restaurant to retrieve your order, which is fine. However, there is no clear or consistent system to notify you that your order is ready.
I went in and checked the cubby and noticed my order was not there. So, I went to the worker to ask for the status of my food order, and he completely dismissed me and was rude. In the spirit of being patient, I waited for 10 more minutes for some sort of notification that my order was done. I finally noticed a bag on the counter. Turns out my order was done the entire time! But the worker – who was sitting on the side chatting and doing absolutely nothing – was too evil and lazy to lift a finger to help!
McCallisters do better! Improve your process! And I do hope to never have to deal with your rude worker ever again (because this isn’t the first time).

This McAlister’s Deli is by far the best location! The staff is so amazing! Always courteous and friendly. The food is always good and the establishment stays clean. Kudos to the workers and management!
UPDATE: 01/27/26. I just had to update my review since I’m currently here at McAlister’s and there is still ice on the road from our winter storm and the Asst. Manager Frank and GM, Kendrick Torres are working the store themselves with only 1 worker due to the skeleton crew from the weather and roads still being treacherous. To see their dedication is so admirable and appreciated!!

I love going to McAlister’s. They are never crowded. But they stay busy. I dine in and I also order online from them. I can’t complain about anything I get. I mainly eat the pecan berry salad because it is excellent. I give McAlister’s deli five stars for everything. They have great customer service.

I love McAlister’s Deli! Back when I worked in an office, it was my go-to spot at least once a week. My usual order? The Pick 2 with half a Reuben (light on the sauerkraut), a cup of potato soup, and a sweet tea Arnold Palmer, no ice.
Today, I was craving my favorite meal and decided to stop by McAlister’s. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm, welcoming smile from the woman at the register. The front area was spotless, and she made my visit even better with friendly small talk and laughter. She also offered me a sample of their new Caramel Apple Lemonade — and OMG, y’all, it was delicious! Not too sweet, with just the right blend of apple and lemonade. I immediately switched my drink order to this fall favorite. 10/10, highly recommend!
My food was ready before I even finished paying. The seating area was clean, tables neatly set, and the music was just the right volume. As I enjoyed my meal, two managers stopped by to check on me, and one even complimented my makeup, my eyebrows specifically! Not to mention, the woman at the front called me beautiful and even treated me to my drink on the house.
Proverbs 16:24 says, “Kind words are like honey — sweet to the soul and healthy for the body.”
Reminding me of the saying; “you get more flies with honey than with vinegar”
It’s always good to be nice to others. Being mean or unpleasant is like being full of vinegar. You will push more people away by acting sour or bitter.
Today, the staff at McAlister’s truly brought that kindness to life. I share all this because my day started off terribly, from an emotional morning, stressful work meeting and my car stopping on me, but this visit turned it around. I came in feeling low, and I left with a full heart, all thanks to the wonderful service.

NEVER WILL I EVER ORDER FROM THEM AGAIN…HORRIBLE. Ordered from this place in a Friday at 8 before they closed and received a 1/3 of a uncooked cold chicken breast sandwich that had rubbery meat. My wife received a club sandwich with slice cheese that wasn’t even melted and still cold. And let me guess they were about to close so I can only imagine the “prep” and “care” they gave into our order.
They are putrid. I didnt it through door dash and had to issue my complaint through them. Dont matter because im sure this establishment could care less and wont even respond. However, i had to write because this was horrible. Paid that money in this economy to feed me, my wife and my one year old son and got some of the worst food you could get.
Thank you ruining my night. Now I have to go all the way to Grand prairie to get food because everything except for wings and pizza is closed in Cedar hill. Yall suck!!

Stopped in today without knowing it was Free Tea Day! Such a great experience. The staff was beyond friendly throughout our entire dining experience. The harvest chicken salad sandwich was delicious.

I ordered a king sandwich and this is what they gave me. This is missing meat and cheese. I’m charged extra for this sandwich option there is no way I should be missing part of the sandwich.My bread is burnt as well this is ridiculous. This is why I stopped coming to this location it’s a hit or miss.

I placed an order for curbside and it was never brought out to me. After waiting 20 minutes I decided to leave without my food and will have to dispute charge with my bank because my food was never brought out to the curbside. If you’re going to have curbside please have enough staff to bring out orders in a decent time. Definitely will not be returning.
