TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

Have ordered from this location several times recently and am I impressed.
The Cauliflower Wings are out of sight. So happy that they have this option for vegetarians. The option to choose the spice level (I tried light mild and mild) is very helpful.
The French Fries and Mac/Cheese items are excellent. I am certain this is the best mac/cheese available nearby.
And the pickles, oh my. I order like 3 or 4 sides of them each time because they are absolutely delicious.
But wait, there’s more. The Kale Slaw is amazing and doesn’t appear to have any bad ingredients (that I can taste), so this is a healthy alternative for me to a regular mixed salad.
Oh, and I almost forgot, the Dave’s Sauce and Cheese Sauce are excellent.

Really good chicken sandwich, great flavoring, a bit to much paprika for my taste but still worth it. The fry sauce is a plus for me, wish it was a whole US thing not just Utah on random restaurants.

Not that impressed if I’m being honest. The chicken tastes fake. It has a weird texture to it. And the seasoning powder stuff is lackluster. I got lite medium to start and it has no flavor to me. No spice. The fries are decent. The bread is bread. They do have great pickles. And the Dave’s sauce is just a gimmick.

Yesterday I went into the store with 4 coupons that my manager gave me for a free slider since I worked on the Dave’s slider day for 10 hours, I had one for each members of my family. I gave them the coupon with a signature on it and they stated they could not take it because it “didn’t have a code” the store number and I said I can provide you with it since it’s my manager. They then stated that no matter what they would not take it and I said okay can I have them back to go to another store. They then ripped it up in my face and said they could not give them back because it’s fraud. And I then stated why if I work there they could’ve just given it so l could go else where. The woman then asked if I wanted to speak to a supervisor and I said yes, she handed the phone to me and I asked who it was and she said the manager Katie. I then asked why I cannot have my coupon back since they aren’t taking it and she stated what I was doing was wrong, and then asked if I wanted to take it to corporate and I said yes because your stealing money from me, and she said I don’t think you want to go there. This experience was very unprofessional, uncomfortable, rude, and dismissive, this is not the way you handle a restaurant or any business at that. I’m very disappointed and non of my family or friends will be going there anymore.

First time at this location and haven’t been in a while. I stopped going in the past because Seemed like there was no value. I found better value elsewhere because combos don’t come with a drink and they only gave a pinch of fries. At this location they actually gave a fair amount of fries still no drink but it’s okay because I prefer my no sugar drinks. Flavors are great and I m findings my footing on making it more of a value for me.

Tried Dave’s Hot Chicken for the first time with my kids. From the very beginning we were greeted with Victorias smile! She made this experience pleasant. She was very helpful and overall a sweet person. Will definitely be coming back as the food, she recommended off the menu was delicious.
