We recently enjoyed breakfast at The Backyard on Miami South Beach, and it was a delightful experience. The menu had a fantastic range of options, so we could all find something that suited our tastes. Each dish tasted as good as it looked, giving us a cheerful start to the day. The vibrant atmosphere, with its funky decor and open-air setting, added a special touch, making it feel more like a gathering of friends than just a meal.
What really made our breakfast stand out was the incredible service from Richard. He was friendly and attentive, always making sure our drinks were full and checking in to see if we needed anything. His warmth and professionalism made us feel truly appreciated as guests. I absolutely loved having dinner with my family at Backyard Miami. I also highly suggest making reservations to eat outdoors by the pool area as well because of the beautiful view and artwork on display outdoors. I ordered their club sandwich with a side of French fries. The food was delicious and we also received great service!

We went here for breakfast. After receiving notably terrible service almost everywhere we ate, I was looking for a spot that had gotten shouted out for especially excellent service, and good food. Unfortunately, we experienced neither. We ate in the restaurant area in the hotel lobby, which may have been the problem, but since it was cold out (for Miami) and extremely windy, there was no one eating out on the patio, so we didn’t have any other options! We waited at least 15 minutes to be noticed, let alone seated. There isn’t a proper entrance so it was unclear how new diners might get the attention of a server or host. The servers were not very competent, and the best thing about the menu is that it was notably less expensive than most of the other breakfast spots in the area. Our food took ages to arrive, and our coffee took even longer. My husband was very disappointed in the quality of his flat white (he said it was pretty much just warm milk) and my coffee was on the lukewarm side, and over-roasted. It was another century before we could get anyone’s attention for the check, and needless to say by that point we were dying to leave. Not a great way to spend any morning. Would have been a better use of time to eat cold leftovers from our minifridge.

Backyard Miami is such a great spot! Perfectly located right next to the beach, it’s the kind of place where you just want to hang out, grab a drink, and enjoy the atmosphere. Super chill vibes, really nice to spend some time and just relax. The staff is super friendly and welcoming, which makes the whole experience even better. Honestly, what else can you wish for?

My wife and I had our welcome party here the night before our wedding and we LOVED everything about it. Laura was amazing in helping us plan everything from food to drinks to music and more. The venue is such a vibe, we used the green space in the back and all our guests were over the moon. For food we got a ton of paella which was an awesome choice. And our bartender Ray helped us create personalized cocktails for our event that were a big hit. Loved the venue, loved the people who work there, made for a picture perfect unforgettable night
