We enjoyed this restaurant for dinner. The margaritas were delicious. Our service was fantastic. The table-made guacamole was to-die for. It was pretty busy but there was almost no wait. Not a quiet restaurant if that’s what you’re looking for.

We love Tequila’s Town. It’s our absolute go to. Some of the best food in Savannah. The tacos are the best in the area. The servers are pleasant. The atmosphere is unbeatable. Also, the prices are perfect. Its hard to find good food that you aren’t overcharged for anymore. We always leave impressed.
If we had to nitpick at all, our only issue lately is that they take your chip bowl away when they go to get you more chips, even if there are still chips in it. So everyone just sits there awkwardly for a few minutes.

It’s hit or miss. Sometimes the meat is overcook and comes out cold. Other times it’s cook to perfection and comes out fresh. Just depends, I guess. The service is always exceptional though. I come here to satisfy my taco cravings, but after the last two times I’m not sure l’ll be back. Again, service is great. The food just isn’t worth the 40-50 dollars I spend each time.

This was my first visit to Tequila Town with the Brownies. I have a feeling it won’t be my last. My first impression was the layout of the restaurant – wide and spacious with a high ceiling. The seating was a bit close with other diners, but I didn’t feel as claustrophobic. Our waitress, Cristina, was good – a bit on the serious side, but very efficient and fast. We didn’t have to ask for refills or for plates to be removed from the table.
Now, on to the food. I had the Carnitas Michoacan. The carnitas were a little salty but flavorful. I really appreciated that they weren’t greasy. I would have really liked it if it was served in chunks of meat with some salsa verde on the side. Otherwise, it felt more like I was eating pulled pork. The refried beans were standard – thick, creamy, and topped with queso. There was also a very nice, sufficient portion of house salad served with the meal. All of the ingredients were fresh and served in a separate bowl. I liked this because salad served on the same hot plate as the entree isn’t very appetizing.
Two of the Brownies had the Arroz Mexicana – large bowls of the rice of your choice, topped with the protein of your choice, perfectly grilled vegetables, and topped with a healthy portion of queso dip. Both declared it to be delicious.
Lord Manfred Brownie had the steak nachos – speaks for itself – a generous portion of nachos, loaded with straps of steak, grilled vegetables, lettuce, and queso. He’s a growing young man with a lot of growing to do – and he still needed a take-out box!
Let’s not forget the horchata perfectly creamy and sweet and loaded with cinnamon.
All said, we had a great time. I would like to return on a day and time where it’s not so loud and crowded.

Great Tacos de asada. The place was nice and the service a great, even with them being packed for dinner. Nice bar area to sit and plenty of other seating.

We discovered tequila’s town Mexican restaurant during a visit last year. A year ago the food was excellent, service very friendly and attentive, and we had a positive experience. We visited again last night. The food was outstanding! My summer peach margarita was perfect! I highly recommend this authentic Mexican cuisine!

Love this place. I always get one of the rice bowls (which are the bomb)! House margarita is my go to along with the table side guacamole. Wait staff is attentive and accommodating.

I was in the area and craved Mexican cuisine. Google Maps led me here. It was around lunch time when I arrived. As I entered I noticed there were a lot of people going in so that was a good sign to me. I was seated almost immediately. As were the patrons before me. This place is pretty big. I’d say it’s good for groups, families, coworkers and soloist. Once seated a waitress brought out some chips and salsa before my waiter arrived. Shortly after, he came out to see if I was ready to order. I was thankful for the quick service because I had an appt to go to and I had no time to waste. I ordered a chicken and beef Empanada for an appetizer (They were 2 for $5!!!!) And they were ABSOLUTELY delicious! For about 5 minutes I actually contemplated ordered some more for my lunch, but I wanted to try something else. I settled on the burritos, one chicken and the other beef. They were good, but I didn’t like the peas and corn in mine. I can’t wait to go back to try some more of their dishes when I have more time to enjoy them.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE…this only happens when you’re STARVING like i was tonight. Ordered chicken enchiladas and sides online. Showed up to get order and they couldn’t find it. After 30 min it was there the whole time. No Apology. I get home and the food is WRONG. No chicken in the chicken enchiladas. Just beans. IIM NOT A VEGETARIAN….
