Waitress was awesome. Blooming Onion was burnt/bad cooking oil. This has happened like 3 times already at this location. Other than that the food was good.

Easily better than the Outback restaurant in the states. I love the way they adhere to my request and make my food to my satisfaction. I love the ribs / costillas! Also, I love that they let me watch my Baltimore Ravens on Monday Night Football, my last time there. Outback in Santo Domingo ROCKS!
Update: I love their NY Sirloin Steak platter too!

Worst service ever. I was not attended to while the attended to all the Spanish speaking customers. After finishing my meal the manager did not acknowledge my presence or provided me with my check. I had to wait minutes. This is very different from services in Outback Steakhouse in the US. If you’re coming from the US beware of the service in this Outback located in Santo Domingo. They have no regards for customers if you don’t speak Spanish.

The steaks are good quality beef from the USA. The service is bad.
The calamari was frozen trash.

Best place to watch sports. The bar staff is the best in the city. I go because of the bartenders and the sports. Food is good but if they ever lose the bartenders I’ll have to find another spot.

I recently visited this Outback location and was extremely disappointed with their new policy regarding the complimentary bread and butter. This has always been a signature part of the dining experience at Outback, yet they no longer bring it to the table unless you specifically request it at the beginning of your meal.
What’s even worse is that if you don’t ask for it upfront, they refuse to serve it later, even if you do request it. The reasoning given was that customers sometimes don’t eat it, which makes absolutely no sense—how are new guests supposed to know about this unwritten rule?
It’s frustrating to see a well-known restaurant cutting back on something so small yet so iconic to their brand. If they’re going to continue this policy, they should at least inform customers when they are seated. Very disappointing experience overall!
