I went here because there was a promotion for a free 6 pack of macarons, and I’m glad I didn’t pay for them. They tasted extremely artificial, to the point of feeling like a parody of real food. I got 3 vanilla which tasted like imitation vanilla, 2 grape(?) that tasted like fruit loops, and 1 strawberry that tasted like fruit leather. They are also comically small, only being 11g each. For costing $2 each, if I paid for these I’d be outraged, thankfully I got these for free. The atmosphere is poor, with seats way to close to each other and many blocking the exits, with kinda uncomfortable chairs. I also got a hot coffee, which tasted watery and weak. I can’t recommend this place, when you can find stuff that’s cheaper and better nearly anywhere else.

The employees are always so kind and they seem so happy. They are very helpful and accommodating. I love coming to this La Madeline. Claudia the manager always has a smile on her face. The food is also so yummy. The fireplace is so nice when it’s cold out. Highly recommend

The food is standard for this chain, nothing special. However, the atmosphere is quite gloomy, and there is an unpleasant, musty smell. The food selection was very limited—perhaps because we arrived at 2:30 p.m. Overall, not the best experience.

Came for a daddy-daughter date Sunday morning brunch. Service was prompt but our order got messed up due to a simple misunderstanding. The general manager Madjid immediately addressed the problem and fixed it – Even adding a special extra spin to my 9-year-olds hot chocolate……. Honestly, the kind of customer service we see less and less of in America, anymore.
Food was on par for what is expected at any La Madeleine, but the staff’s attentiveness to our needs and requests for the duration of our dining experience was honestly exceptional.
I am certainly a pleased patron and the overall experience this Sunday morning La Madeleine crew at 281 and 1604 created for my daughter and me definitely inspires a return visit.
