This location could use a little internal update. Food is always good and service was exceptional. Did you know there is a 20% military discount? I didn’t! Winning!!! A great sandwich and the best red beans and rice.

Worst $10 spent. Usually I love Popeyes, but at this location, the biscuit was burnt, the fountain soda was watered down and barely even sweet (dr.pepper), and the chicken pieces were so small and bony. (I ordered two piece fried chicken) Not worth the money. Go to any other location. Small portion sizes. Total scam.

The service of fast food In general has come to a complete disaster. We waited 20 plus minutes for a order I placed online and went to pick up ♂️ they really didn’t care that I was waiting so long and didn’t even greet us when the food was finally brought out. This is by far the worst popeyes I’ve ever went to. They constantly dont get your order right, skimp on condiments, sometimes the chicken isn’t cooked all the way. I grew up on this food and I stop by cause I hope that maybe this time it won’t be off and it’s close to home. Ridiculous

Ordered 1 spicy chicken sandwich and another spicy chicken sandwich meal with the 12 piece family meal- total was $52! I’m mind blown, should’ve just gone a little farther to church’s chicken lol when we got home, found out we were missing a spicy chicken sandwich and the one they did give us was original whaaaattt ? This was so disgusting. I never thought I would have to check reviews before I go to Popeyes chicken but I should have. The chicken leg was the size of a drumette not a leg. The skin was so hard on the thigh it’s horrible. We paid for white meat chicken and we all got dark meat. All of our orders we exactly the same, messed up. The chicken smelled musty. The mashed potatoes tasted old. The biscuits were so hard. The coleslaw had not have been in the fridge at all. I will warn you right now NEVER go here.

I ordered a 10 peice spicy. It was not spicy. It had 1 wing and I drumstick. The rest were thighs. Called and complained and didn’t get anywhere with it. This is the second time in a month my order is messed up. Should of checked before I left. River rd location has gotten bad.
