Ali Baba has been my favorite Middle Eastern spot since I was a kid. The food is always so fresh, authentic, and full of flavor …. the kind of place where every bite feels like comfort and tradition wrapped together.
Their vegan and vegetarian options are just as thoughtful and delicious as everything else, and the meat is incredibly flavorful and perfectly seasoned. There are so many options that even the pickiest eaters will find something they love.
It’s one of those places that never disappoints …. consistent, welcoming, and always a delight.

We stopped on the way to Temecula to charge our car and were hungry. We got there just as they opened. The owner/cook greeted us and shortly after a waiter took our order.
We ordered falafel appetizer, hummus and Ali baba bread. All were exceptionally delicious but the bread OMG soooooo good it needs its own review.

My husband ordered the chicken shawarma wrap. They have their own shawarma cooking rotisserie done the traditional way. The portions are size-able and the food is really really good. Moist and flavorful!

Tried this place after the physical therapist recommended. We got the chicken tika. Which was absolutely delicious. Super tender and flavorful. Grilled to perfection. Also got the salad sampler. This was really good as well. The portions were huge. This place is awesome. Highly recommended.

Look at how huge their fresh bread it is . It’s fluffy , soft and big enough to share . The portions are ginormous . Lots of flavors . We had their chicken, salmon and beef. All flavorful and MOIST. While there I saw people from all different ages and backgrounds enjoy their scrumptious vittles. They even were hosting a wedding rehearsal dinner served family style . I’ll be back for sure . Staff was nice .

This was the most amazing Mediterranean food I’ve ever had. We had a large group of 18 people so we got 2 of the largest platters and we still had leftovers enough for 3 more people. The hummus I wish I lived nearby because it would become a staple visit for our families.

Excellent Mediterranean food, with fair portions at fair prices. The prices have increased and the menu has changed, but the food is still delicious. Update: Got the Beef Shawarma plate and the Lamb Tikka plate. Both tasted great, and were spiced perfectly. The meats were tender and lean. The beef was a little dry, but the lamb was very juicy. This is our favorite restaurant in the area. It is very convenient for anyone using the Tesla Superchargers to charge their car.

After visiting San Diego Park, we found ourselves in the same situation as Ray Lin, a Google Local Guide, who had shared his firsthand experience. Exhausted and famished from our extensive walk at the zoo, we felt like we could eat a whole cow. And ali baba happens to be the best recommended place to go.

The restaurant lacks in lusture..but makes it up with the incredibly delicious fresh food. Beef shawarma clean fresh taste with the perfect spice blend, makes it so you can’t stop eating it. The chicken Tikka kabob was fresh perfectly spiced and juicy++. The bread is home made! The falafel was crispy on the outside moist on the inside, It’s in my top 3 Mediterranean restaurants. If you’re ever in Escondido it’s a must. Return factor 100%++
