The fish and chips were perfectly battered and crispy! Gave me a whole plate of fries with it. I absolutely loved the cake and cobbler, would recommend getting dessert! The server Kirby was very friendly too. There was live country music but it wasn’t too loud and overpowering.

Well this was an unexpected treat! I was staying nearby and asked Maps for the “best brunch near me” (as a little treat for myself for just about making it out of my hotel room without falling foul of my late checkout deadline )
This is a nice space, which is difficult to pull off in what’s essentially part of a hotel lobby.
The barman, Nick (see pic) made me a top-notch Sazerac (see pic), which set the tone for what was a relaxed stay with a lovely bite to eat (the Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich, which comes with fries), followed by their signature cocktail, a perfectly crafted Old Fashioned (see pic) and then a whiskey sour (see pic), both courtesy, once again, of the talented and engaging Nick.
The only downside (possibly a blessing in disguise) is that I discovered this place on the last day of my stay in Nashville!

Evelyn provided excellent service during my visit. At her recommendation, I had the salmon, and I found it to be quite satisfactory. The atmosphere of the restaurant was also very pleasant. I highly recommend both the dish and the service.

Kirby was incredible. There was once a day that I did not know my direction. Then I met Kirby. Much like the cinematic journey of the movie Inception, he knew what I was after and served beverage before I even knew I needed one. Life changing experience and recommend this location for all.

Food was absolutely inedible. Ordered a Nashville chicken sandwich. When it came out the bottom bun was soaked in oil. When I picked it up oil poured out of the sandwich. The fries were not fresh. Also what places makes the decision to not serve alcohol until 2pm on a Saturday when there are several sporting events that start before. STAY AWAY.

Stopped in for a quick bite and a beer after traveling to Nashville. Crab hush puppies were very good and beer was even better. Kirby was extremely friendly and offered 3 local spots for the famous Nashville Hot Chicken sandwich. Going for lunch today, so I’ll find out soon if his advice is as solid as his service!

I wanted to like it. Appetizer was good but food was very underwhelming and oily. I ordered the fried chicken and my husband the salmon. Both were poorly cooked with NO seasoning. Atmosphere and service was lovely though!

Central Bar + Kitchen exceeded our expectations! Every course—from the appetizers and fresh salads to the burgers and chicken sandwich—was tasty and well prepared. Miss Evelyn was wonderful and made the experience even better with her attentive and cheerful service. The bar was a highlight too—Mr. Kirby’s drinks were perfectly made and absolutely delicious. Highly recommend this place for a great meal and great atmosphere!
