Meals are about 13.00 at Big Boy. The meals are a nice size, enough food but not huge plates. I prefer lunch at Big Boy, the southern fried chicken and fish and chips are our favorites.

There is a nice variety of classic breakfasts, dinners, and sandwiches. I’m a fan of the veal parmigiana or just spaghetti with meat sauce (reminds me of classic hearty sauce), marinara is an option. May family’s favorites are the slim jim and hamburgers. We had the nicest server this visit.

This Big Boy has some of the most friendly servers of any restaurant in the area. In addition, they have one of the only soup and salad bars around. Always fresh veggies, fruits, and 4 different soup choices.

I will Forever and Always love going to a Big Boy restaurant! I drove from the east side of Lansing for this. And at this location, the service was very good! The server was kind and pleasant. The food was that classic BB fare. It came out quickly, and just the way I asked for it. I also met the manager, she was awesome as well. I recommend the Mason location for sure! It’s worth going a little bit out of the way for a real Big Boy restaurant experience and food!

Went for the breakfast buffet because it was a tradition of my dad’s to take me when I was a kid. So I got to do the same for my kiddo, now that my dad has passed away. Interenet shows it’s $8.99 for an adult. It is not. A child was $7.99 and the adult buffet was $16.99 and drink not included. Never in my life would I have paid $32 for breakfast for 2…but the service and food was great. And my kid loved that they had whipped cream for her cereal.

First time to order from Big Boy and the food was average. I ordered fish and chips and I got 3 small not crispy fish with regular fries nothing special. The order had coleslaw, a small cake, two tartar sauce and a ketchup. Average fish and chips nothing interesting so 3 stars.

Service and food was excellent. Sarah did a wonderful job. My wife usually doesn’t get a refill on her beverage at most restaurants but Sarah made sure she did. The only reason for the ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ on atmosphere is that the “ gentleman “ behind us was loud and no filter on his profanities.

First off our server was 8-9months pregnant. She should be lying down or in bed…
-We were respectful, ordered our food cautiously? Just for a mushroom swiss burger to come with bacon? Vs no bacon? Which it naturally doesnt come with… lol?
-How about a philly cheesteak omelette? nahh youre getting goi 60/40 ground beef with some scrambled eggs…. Um Sure? But can you leave out the gray hairs?
-lets think for our brother at home, oh yea; some scrambled eggs and hashbrowns, but wait! Here some inedible plastic/fingernail? on the house. Be cautious biting too hard, dont want to chip a tooth on something you cant digest!
-the one star i guess goes for mom ordering a salad… i reckon thats user error if anything goes wrong with a salad,

Let me start with; The fish is Soooo Good!!! Better than even Red Lobster’s fish! It is soft, flakey and moist! We drive about 40 minutes just for their fish and chips basket! It comes with fries (of course) hushpuppies and coleslaw. The filets come in different sizes, so you may get 2 -4 pieces depending on their sizes. If you don’t like coleslaw, the fresh all you can eat fruit, soup and salad bar is only $5.95 when added on to your meal. (Alone I think it is $11.95 or $12.95 as of this post.) And don’t forget the pretzel bites and Strawberry Shakes!!! Oh so delicious! Warning… you might need a bigger table for all the yummy food, especially if you have more than 2 people dining! And all of the times that we have gone to the Mason, Michigan Big Boy, the table service has been absolutely exceptional! It’s well worth the drive, money, effort and time in my opinion! Check it out for yourself and enjoy! (In the attached picture, I think the basket is minus 1 piece of fish cuz I think I ate it. )
