It’s been a couple years since we had gone in for breakfast. Stopped by this morning after going to vote. It was amazing. Waitress for on top of things , friendly, polite, attentive. Food was really good. Fresh , hot, cooked well and quickly.
Again it’s been a couple years since we’ve been in because back then food was just kinda eh. But, we’ll definitely be back much sooner now.

We decided to try something new today so while driving down 1st Street we stopped off at Bill’s Grill. Just a small restaurant but we did not leave disappointed. Restaurant was very clean, we seared ourselves and were greeted promptly by our server, Katrina, service was very good and conversation was not lacking. Food came out quick, was served hot, and had good flavor. The wife had chicken fried steak and I enjoyed the bacon cheeseburger. We will definitely stop by again.

Me and a couple of my grandsons had lunch here today!
It’s a small place but has plenty of room.
Has that café diner feeling.
Everyone was friendly.
Our waitress was very friendly and took care of us right away.
I had The Chicken Fried Steak & 2 eggs with Hash Browns, and the best buttery Biscuits.
My middle grandson had The Chicken Fried Steak Sandwich with Fries! The fries were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside! Really Good!
My youngest Grandson had The 8 oz Bill’s Big Texas Burger w/Fries.
Burger was flavorful and cooked just right.
All was good and we enjoyed it.
So many things to choose from. I want to try so many different things!
We will be back.

The wife and I had wanted to try Bill’s Grill for a while and I’m glad we did. The staff were friendly and the breakfast we had was delicious. The cook seasoned everything well and I’ve never had toast so tasty before.

Bill’s is so delicious, affordable and cool that I almost didn’t want to leave this review because it’s Temple’s best kept secret. I’ve tried many local restaurants in town and Bill’s food quality surpasses them in burger, fry and breakfast categories. This patty melt nearly brought me to tears. It’s like a mother’s grilled cheese meets dad’s backyard burgers! (Note: I’m not a fan of onions, those were not included here) The fries are hot and fresh, not over salted and the sweet tea actually tastes sweet! I’d give them 10 stars if I could.

My son introduced me to this place years ago, and I remember being impressed with the delicious burger I enjoyed here. Now that I have moved into the area, I have been back a couple of times, and the food was as good as I remembered. On my latest visit I had the Tuesday lunch special, chicken fried steak. While I can’t say it was the best I’ve ever had, I would put it up in my top ten for sure, and I am certain I will go enjoy it again. The smiling waitress is friendly, fast, and never let my glass become empty. She is very professional and efficient without being intrusive or bothersome. Bottom line, I love the food and the awesome service my hubby and I experienced here. Yep, we’ll be regulars!

I just found a new place to eat!
10oz ribeye & eggs for $12.99 AND cooked and seasoned perfectly? Yes ma’am! My friend had the chicken fried steak and it tasted good (and I don’t like chicken fried steak!) It was fresh and not that preformed stuff some places serve.
HOW MUCH? Less than $22.50 AFTER taxes. The service was great and the atmosphere is like an old time greasy spoon diner, which kinda hinted to me that the food was going to be good.
A shout out to Larry the cook, AKA the grill master, great steak, thanks!
