This pub is the best this Lass has been to in Texas! Everyone treated us like family. (We reside in Oklahoma) the beers and queso were phenomenal! Thank you welcoming us in your pub. Cheers!

Very cool pub vibe in an old downtown McKinney building. Great spot to hang out and have a few pints with old friends or to meet new friends.
The wife and I were there for lunch on Sat during the Texas Music Revolution. Downstairs was not open yet so we went upstairs which was okay. For lunch the wife had the Chicken Fajita Wrap ($15.99) and I had the burger ($15.99). The burger was nothing special. The meat was a thin patty with not much flavor. The wife said she like the Chicken Fajita wrap but commented that the chicken was fried not your normal fajita type grilled chicken. But she said it was good.
All in all I would not hesitate to go there again for food and drinks but don’t expect the food to be anything better than standard bar food. Oh and they have some good craft beer at $6.50 and domestic at $6. The service was good and again the atmosphere was excellent. Our two lunch plates with my two craft beers (boulevard wheat) and the wife’s one corona was $55.19 before tip, $70.19 with tip.
Give the boulevard wheat beer a try. It was good!

My wife and I came here for date night after narrowing it down from 4 other restaurants and I was NOT Disappointed. I specifically came to test out the fish and chips. Our amazing waitress told us that it was way better than their competitor in the area, to which it was. I didn’t know if I should go for the single or double fillet. For those lite eaters I would recommend the Single. For the Foodies. Definitely the Double!!! Portion size, taste, consistency, sauce, it was all there!! Will be coming back for more real soon!

A great Irish pub! Whiskey selection is excellent, cocktails are always good. Have tasted many items on the menu— all very good. Scotch eggs are quite good, as are the fish & chips. Have had the Reubin sandwich many times, very good. Great onion rings. The shepherd’s pie is outstanding— very flavorful. Really, everything on the menu has been good, so just give this place a try! Service is friendly and attentive. We like to come here for traditional Irish music on Wednesday evenings, but also come on the weekends. Check their music event calendar online for details. Overall this place has a great Irish feel.

Very friendly environment with staff, and fellow patrons. Occasional live music, a pool table in the upstairs bar, fair amout of seating for an intimate vibe of Irish welcome, at both the downstairs & upstairs bars.

Move your pool tables… horrible placement
Drinks were fire tho. Right after we explained how to make them.

Visited on a weekday, and the vibe here is great. I ordered directly at the bar, opened a tab, and the service was excellent.
Enjoyed the lively atmosphere. They even have pool tables to play, which adds to the experience.
Overall, it’s a great place to hang out—good service, good vibe.

The service and ambiance are decent—nothing exceptional but perfectly fine. However, the food itself is pretty average and didn’t stand out. That said, the beer selection looked impressive, so next time, I might stop by just to enjoy a drink.

On my bucket list for a while. Good: Fish was crisp, decent portion size, firm white meat with great quality. Bad: I had to put on a ridiculous amount of salt to have any flavor. Fries were dripping with grease. Hopefully will try again with better results.

Cool place. It’s an older building but it works for a pub. Live music upstairs along with a full bar and bathrooms. (Feel sorry for those employees that have to go up and down all night) food is good and bartenders were as attentive as they could be on a packed Saturday night. If you plan on going for the live music, I suggest getting there no later that 7pm in order to fine a seat. Great selection of beers and liquor.
