My wife and I are here for a week and have eaten at quite a few places at the Lani Kai. We decided on Yo! Taco because they had a vegetarian offering of black beans and rice. And we didn’t have any tacos! Ha!
Anyway the dish was good, but it definitely needed a squirt of sauce. The amount was good size with a generous amount of both the rice and beans. Plus there was plenty of tomatoes cheese and sour cream. The squirt of the sauce helped put some spark into to an otherwise bland serving.
We have several more days here so I might try tacos too!

Yo Taco is yummy! We got ours “jacked up” and they were fabulous! It’s on th beach side of the Lani Kai Hotel. The chips, salsa, guac and queso dip are all fresh daily. Enjoy!!

We both had steak tacos and chips and queso. It was all delicious! I love their little set up too, cute little Tiki tables with a perfect view of the water. I hope the pier gets fixed at some point, but it’s great to see some of the small businesses doing well.

Love this place. Had the taco salad- lunch in the bowl. Dinner over chips. Both were amazing and service was great. Tyler sure took care of us. Chicken was good but I did prefer the beef personally. They do not shrimp on their proportions

We’ve loved Yo Taco for years and watched helplessly from afar last year as Ian’s surge continued rising. We’re so happy the owners courageously reopened on the remains of Time Square and enjoyed two awesome evening meals. Their burritos, tacos, and beans & rice were better than ever, and their setup is cozy and laid back. Thank you for your perseverance and dedication to your customers!
