Food:
All the meals are great!!! The fish in the fish tacos was cooked perfectly and I loved how there was no breading. The brisket was also perfectly done. Keep in mind, there is no sause leaving you an open cavas of taste possibilities. The nachos were also perfectly done. We really enjoyed the chips and salsa that came with our meals. The red salsa has a great flavor and a spicy kick! The green salsa is full of lime and wonderful spices that complement everything perfectly. Protip, mix the green salsa into your rice. AMAZING!! To top it off, we added white queso and that was also perfectly done! Excellent consistancy, taste, and texture!
Service:
We were very impressed with our service! The team is very efficient and getting people in, serving them, and then getting them on their way. We had to wait a few minutes after being seated which was ok as that gave us a chance to look over our menus. After that though, the service was prompt and right there. They work as a team in every way. Even the manager is involved. There was a lot of smiles and everyone was extremely polite and kind. Excellent job!!
Atmosphere:
The restaurant looks huge on the outside and some how it was small on the inside. Half the building was bar, the other half was restaurant, and to get to the patio, you need to go through the bar. As such, there really wasn’t much of a vibe. However, everything was neat, clean, and well stocked. The staff are exceptional at keeping things clean. Bathrooms are clean and neat as well.
All in all, we will for sure be back! This was a great experience and we are excited to try new things to see what we can come up with!
Madi is the best server here! At the suggestion of a friend we tried JLP tonight and I was skeptical before we even walked in. I am pretty picky when it comes to fajitas but why not try something new.
The steak fajitas were cooked to perfection and it’s clear that they use high quality meat! It was seasoned perfectly, cooked perfectly and I cannot remember better restaurant fajitas ever being served.
The watermelon margaritas were absolutely divine! Contest worthy for sure. The bar service was fantastic all the way around.
The salsa served before the meal was great. They brought green and red salsa as well as a bean dip. It seemed clear to me that the quality of the food served is priority number one – as the salsa was fresh and fabulous. The bean dip- just wow. I highly suggest double dipping your chip. Once one the bean dip and once in the green salsa.
All in all it was a great experience. The environment was nice, the servers were on top of their game and as I said – the food was phenomenal. Best value and quality I’ve had at a restaurant since Covid. We will definitely be back to try more deliciousness from the menu!
From the moment you walk in, you feel it — the energy, the warmth, the smell of fresh tortillas and sizzling meat — you just know you picked the right spot.
Let’s talk about the margaritas. These are not your watered-down, overly sweet “just okay” drinks. These are the kind of margaritas that make you close your eyes after the first sip. Perfectly balanced, strong (but smooth), and dangerously good. Hands down the best I’ve ever had.
And the birria tacos? Unreal. Crispy on the outside, juicy and flavorful on the inside, packed with tender meat and melty cheese, and that consommé? Absolute perfection. Every bite tastes like it was made with pride.
The service is always welcoming and attentive, and you can tell this isn’t just a restaurant — it’s a place people genuinely care about. Whether it’s date night, girls’ night, or a family dinner, this spot never misses.
If you’re thinking about trying it — stop thinking and go. Just don’t blame me when you start craving those margaritas and birria tacos weekly.
The place was small & parking hard to find. However they are moving to a bigger place. Our waitress was nice but unfortunately not the best.i think she was just overwhelmed.
However, it’s all about the food! Highly recommend!
Amazing service, as usual, great drinks, and everything I’ve tried off the menu has been great.
The only thing I could say needs attention is the bathrooms. They were SO hot and needed cleaning.
