I ordered a chicken strip basket. The chicken was the best part, although it was dry and tasted less-than-fresh. The French fries were way overcooked, lukewarm, and crunchy (I’m assuming they were old fries that were thrown back into the oil to be reheated). The BBQ sauce packet I was given had a hole cut through the top of it, and I had to trade it out for a new one. The bread was laughably bad; untoasted and soggy with a glob of melted butter just soaking through the center of it. My Blizzard was given to me a few minutes before I even got my food. By the time I finished eating, it was mostly melted, and absolutely crammed with toppings, so much that it wasn’t enjoyable.
I was one of maybe 3 customers dining in, and there were no vehicles ordering in the drive-thru when I walked inside. There’s no excuse for such slow service and poorly prepped food when there’s only a handful of customers.
Nope. The place is already dirty. The handles to the front door were smeared and sticky. The floor was slippery as if an oily mop had been used to clean the floor (restaurants normally don’t use the same mop for the kitchen as they do for the dining room, but you can always tell when they do.). There were random water puddles all over the floor. The drink machine was dirty. The lady at the counter was okay as I don’t need a welcoming committee but she had zero personality and didn’t even say hello. The lethargic dude in the kitchen area dragged his feet and looked miserable. In fairness, the manager (I assume it was a manager or owner) must have noticed as he gave him an earful about something.
Worst of all though, I thought I would at least be served fresh and hot food at 12:30pm on a weekday. I got a 3ps chicken finger and fries. The fries were cold and limp (they were quite literally no warmer than room temperature and approaching wet noodle stage). The chicken fingers were dry, overcooked, and not unlike the fries, were cold too.
I’d like to think that my experience was unique today but from the looks of things and previous reviews, probably not.
It had a lid on it but I took it off for the photo, this was 15 seconds later in the parking lot that I took it. I would not recommend this artificial blizzard or this location.
