Best burger I’ve had that wasn’t made at home
Photos don’t do it justice, this burger is big!… Well worth the money, I’ll return when I’m in the area next for sure!
If I lived in or near Trenton this would be a regular place for me
Picture shows most of the onion rings gone and some of the bacon gone already

You won’t go away hungry. Potatoes were not over spiced yet delicious with just a little salt and pepper. The big Momma breakfast came with five perfectly cooked large eggs and four excellently cooked large and thick crisp bacon slices. A cup of baked beans and a choice of white, brown or rye toast. Also came with the previously mention big portion of their tasty potatoes. Coffee could have been a tad stronger but was still okay.

Excellent breakfast and brunch spot conveniently located right off the 401 in Trenton.
I ordered the Momma’s special #2 – 3 eggs, bacon, sausage, peameal bacon, baked beans, texas toast, bottomless coffee $11.99.
My wife ordered the eggs benedict with peameal bacon $12.99.
Both plates were loaded and we had leftovers to take home. I recommend the Momma’s specials as they give you the best bang for your buck.
Friendly service and decent brunch food at a great price. The coffee was a bit watered down but not unusual for these type of establishments. The restaurant is clean and plenty of parking available.

My first time there and I was super impressed. The only reason I didn’t give it a 5 star was because the bacon was a bit on the burnt side and there was a bit of a wait between coffee refills. (Bigger cups would mean less refills. just a thought) The portions were huge for the price you pay. Very affordable . Will definitely be back.

Right off the highway , easy to find and lots of parking.
Service was prompt and friendly and made us feel welcomed.
At 11 am on a Sunday the place had a good crowd with people coming and going. We were offered both the breakfast and lunch menus and had a hard time deciding given that there were a good mix of options that you’d expect from a diner , but with mommas twist !
Our buffalo chicken soup was original and full of flavor and of actual vegetables. Our crispy chicken sandwich was enough to split . The chicken was hot and crispy and with a beautiful fresh bun , fresh lettuce and tomato and just the right amount of mayo . Fries were ample and fresh cut .
The place is clean and happy , well worth the extra 30 seconds drive past the Macdonald’s and other fast food at this exit .

Loved this place when I ate there in 2018, and again in 2025. Perfect size to not get lost, great food, especially the surprising affordability of the prices. I will try to stop more often when passing by on the 401. Reminds me of the kind of places I’d eat at as a kid – comfort food, well-made, quick service, and customers who keep coming back.

The food here is absolutely phenomenal. Probably the best place in Trenton to get a burger. And very easy on the wallet as well. Can honestly say that I never thought I’d see the day when it was cheaper to eat at a diner than it is at McDonald’s. After eating here, I’ll never eat at a fast food franchise again. This place is top notch

Drove by this place on our way to the National Air Force Museum and I said to myself “I bet that food is amazing.” Well we needed a meal after our very informative museum experience and I knew exactly where we were going. This is everything you want in a diner and the food was perfect. Fast service, great portions, more than reasonably price, nostalgic feel and great staff. My celiac father even asked for a custom lettuce wrap for his burger and they delivered. I had the Rueben with the poutine and it was excellent and I fancy myself a bit of a Rueben connoisseur. Also check out that old school plastic Pepsi glass in the corner of the photo – exactly what I want to drink out of during a diner experience. I don’t know why anyone wouldn’t give this place a perfect rating – what exactly were you looking for from a place called “Mama’s Diner”? In Trenton? Give your head a shake.

Stopped in at this classic diner for lunch. Was offered breakfast or lunch menus Both with lots of options. Opted for the lunch menu. Was happy to find burgers, sandwiches and lots of diner classics. Had the open faced roast beef sandwich with mash. Was classic and great. Good prices. Good portions. Friendly and fast service. Clean restaurant. Plenty of parking.
