Rinkside Café completely changes what you expect from arena food. Instead of the usual limp fries and flavorless snacks, you get meals that feel like someone actually cared when they made them. The chili is rich and smoky, packed with beans and tender beef, topped with just the right amount of cheese so it melts into every bite. The gumbo could hold its own in New Orleans, and it is the kind of warm bowl you want on a cold day.

The real star might be the onion ring burger. It is big, messy in the best way, and stacked high with crispy onion rings and melty cheese on a juicy Angus patty. People literally come in from the street just for that burger and end up staying to watch the hockey game.

The menu keeps things balanced with familiar favorites like grilled cheese, hot dogs, and personal pizzas, but the rotating specials make it worth checking back often. Even the fresh watermelon is a nice touch and feels like something you would not expect at a rink café.

The atmosphere is friendly and relaxed, service is quick, and the prices are fair considering the quality of food you are getting. This is not concession food. This is food that feels made for the community, for the players, parents, and neighbors who want something good to eat while they are here.

Bottom line: Rinkside Café makes the rink a destination, not just a place you pass through. Whether you stop in for chili, gumbo, or that famous onion ring burger, you leave full and happy — maybe even staying a little longer just to catch a game.

I added a few more photos from the visit this past weekend, Chilli, Mac & Cheese and a whole grain grilled cheese.

Also, Tiramisu! But like a crumble mix… was great.
