Reviews
The drinks were OK. Nothing bad, just nothing particularly memorable. The service, however, was great. Our server was friendly, attentive, and did a really solid job throughout the night.
The asparagus fries were amazing, they definitely a stood. The mashed potatoes and vegetables were also very good and clearly prepared well.
Unfortunately, the prime rib was the worst I’ve ever had. It was extremely chewy, completely tasteless, and honestly felt like I was eating rubber. Visually, it didn’t look appealing either. I’m prior military and not someone who likes to complain or send food back, so I did my best to power through it — but I just couldn’t finish it. I ended up asking for a to-go box for the prime rib.
Despite the issue with the entrée, I still left a 20% tip because the service itself was great. Our server did an excellent job, and I didn’t feel it was fair for him to be affected by a kitchen issue that was outside of his control.
I’d consider coming back for appetizers and to try something different, but I would definitely skip the prime rib.
We had a great server in Briggs!
He was very energetic and helpful with the selections in the menu being it was our first time visiting from Phoenix.
Highly recommend!
I love local, support local and want to rally behind local establishments. I will happily update my review if my experience changes in the future.
