This Panera is awful. Sometimes the food is ok and other times it’s this. Half a sandwich is rarely ever half. Usually you get 1/3. Someone there doesn’t know how to cut down the middle. Today the creamy chicken and rice soup was WATER. So watery they handed the bag out soaked.
Management sucks at this location. The whole staff needs to be fired because they clearly lack common sense and care. Food costs too damn much to get that’s not edible. Refunded on Door Dash and went elsewhere
You’ll also wait 30min in the drive thru with just two cars ahead of you. It’s ridiculous.
Management needs to do better, not only are food orders coming out wrong, they’re not putting the full ingredients in. The Fort Walton Panera has been much more consistent over the years.
It’s like someone here either doesn’t know how to make the soup or they’re leaving it in the pot all day and adding water as it evaporates. A food safety concern BTW.
This place is too expensive for the small portions and hit or miss edibility.
Edit to add- placed a mobile order. Get to the drive through, wait 7-9 minutes with no one acknowledging me. I pull up to the pickup window and the worker and the manager and leaning against the counter on their phones. Smh
This isn’t the first time that we have come to this restaurant and either they’ve been out of many food options or they have not gotten our orders correct, so I’m leaving this review in hopes it will spark a change. My kids and I came in the restaurant to dine in around 4:30 and we were the only customers there. First they were out of the bread I wanted for a sandwich to which I just ordered a Green Goddess Cobb salad with chicken and no modifications/everything on it. We had waited a while for our food and the couple that came in after us got their food first and it looked like there was an issue with their order that needed fixed. My kids were fussy so I went to the counter and the girl said, “sorry your food was put in as a to go order” so it was just sitting there the whole time in the kitchen and no one told us. We get our food and I notice there’s no chicken on my salad. So I went back and asked the girl if she wouldn’t mind putting chicken on it. She brought it back and I go to sit back down to open it up and it’s literally just a bowl of lettuce with some pieces of chicken on top. There was ONE SLICE of egg, ONE TINY sliver of avocado, no pickled red onions, and maybe an infant’s sized fistful of crumbled bacon. Also, they gave me ranch dressing (the dressing it should’ve come with was their signature “green goddess dressing” hence the title of the salad.)
Because of the missing chicken I was too shy to look petty and get back up to ask for more. As a mom of littles, sometimes I get too busy to eat so I came in starving and just wanted to sit down and enjoy a meal with my family. Instead, I left even more hungry and frustrated especially noticing the workers were on their phones and casually walking back and forth to the parking lot which explains the lack of pride and attentiveness in their work.
I am leaving this review not to condemn this restaurant but to hopefully initiate a positive change and way forward as a business. Being a brand new restaurant in small town Navarre, they are missing out on a golden opportunity to serve their community better. We were so excited to get a Panera Bread so please don’t leave us disappointed!
The employees look miserable in back still
They are still Trying to figure it out . I go to Mary Esther store and they get busier n manage to keep up with orders .. They need to speak up when your order is ready
