I’ve lived in Oklahoma for over ten years and driven past this area countless times, but I had no idea Rudy’s BBQ was here until a friend invited me. I was honestly surprised! The place is spacious with plenty of parking, and I love the rustic, countryside-style decor—it really gives it a welcoming vibe.
The food was good—maybe just a little bit salty for my taste, but still very enjoyable. What really stood out was the service. The staff were super friendly, and one of them went out of her way to make me feel welcome when she found out it was my first time there.
The prices are reasonable too, which is always a bonus. I’ll definitely be coming back and recommending this spot to others!

Would give 10 stars if allowed, My husband took me here it was my first time . Hands down the best bbq I have ever eaten!!! Sabrina was very knowledgeable and treated me like family at a bonfire bbq. Well priced for the portion sizes and quality!! The assistant manager Troy as well as the rest of the team makes you feel welcomed and appreciated . If you are looking to get full and enjoy some of the best bbq around this would be the place. Ask for Sabrina she will help get you fixed up and full!!!

Low quality meat my brisket was very fatty and bland. You order meat by the pound. It is difficult to grab lunch when your options are to order a pound of some meat. You also order side separately (at least the sides are not by the pound). The sauce is on the table in very large containers that don’t pour. You have to shake them like an old bottle of Ketchup and it gets everywhere. We used one of there Comp cards (similar to a gift card in operation) the cashier promptly told us it was empty. They eventually discovered how to use their own card. This place is busy at lunch , so I guess I am missing the best part of it. My wife liked the turkey.

A little underwhelming. My husband was very excited to try it out for lunch. I got the sausage sandwich which was great, and he got the brisket sandwich (3/5). The baked beans weren’t that great. We ended up adding a ton of stuff to it in order for it to really be good. The banana pudding was good, but not excellent. I’d say the sausage sandwich was the best thing we ate there! I’d try it again, but different menu items such as the chicken or potato salad to see how they taste. Staff was friendly.

We had the meat at a party and it was so good. Other sides and sauces were provided. We decided to eat in for our first time. Very simple, clan and very friendly staff. We were offered samples of brisket and turkey and they were perfect! I ordered brisket and my hubby ordered moist brisket. Amazing I would order just the meats for get together for sure. The sauces were not good in my opinion. No hot options. We passed on the coleslaw because it looked so plain. The potato salad was creamy but otherwise flavorless. The bean salad would have been great with seasoning. Salt and pepper wasn’t enough. The creamed corn had no flavor and the corn was weird. Deflated and squishy. All sides need tons more flavor. They reminded me of hospital food, like made for old people or dietary issues. Such a fun concept, great employees and the meats are so tender. I would go back for to go, just the meat so I can serve my favorite sides and sauces at home. The desserts are excellent. Try the buttermilk pie!

As featured on #ForkLahoma, Rudy’s BBQ on Memorial Road delivers a standout dining experience. Their massive baked potato, topped with tender smoked turkey and paired with their Sissy Sauce for a mild, sweet kick, is unforgettable. The smoky aroma, friendly service, and welcoming atmosphere make it a top BBQ spot in OKC. Highly recommend!

Here’s a polished review you could use for Rudy’s “Country Store” and Bar-B-Q:
⸻
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5/5
Rudy’s Bar-B-Q is hands down one of the best barbecue spots around! The food is always fresh, smoky, and full of flavor. The brisket is tender and juicy, the ribs fall right off the bone, and the creamed corn is absolutely addictive.
The atmosphere is casual and welcoming, making it perfect for both family meals and hanging out with friends. The staff is friendly and efficient, and they really make the experience enjoyable. I also appreciate the generous portions—you definitely get your money’s worth.
Overall, Rudy’s delivers amazing BBQ every time. If you’re craving authentic Texas-style barbecue in a relaxed setting, this is the place to go. Highly recommend!

We have been eating at Rudy’s since it’s inception in Austin. We moved states and were so happy to see Rudy’s come to OKC. Unfortunately, Rudy’s has lost a lot over the years. Maybe because it’s a chain now and not watched over well to make sure everything is the same from store to store. We has Ribs. They were dried out and rough. Not juicy and tender. We also had Cole slaw. Bland and DRY. I asked for some dressing from the back to make it less dry but they said they couldn’t do that. The service was great. The cashier was on top on it, greeted us, placed our order and filled it fast. The restaurant was clean. Though it was lunch time on a sat, besides us, there was only 3 other tables that had diners.
