This was our first time here. We were seated immediately event though the full parking lot and space in front were full. They have a large shaded patio area out back so I think that is where most patrons were as the inside wasn’t not full. This did delay our meal a little. Had we ordered appetizers the time would have been filled with that but we didn’t. We were not upset at the time delay since we could see everyone was hustling. Our waitress (name starts with an M — couldn’t hear her) was really nice and even though she was busy she always stopped by to see if we needed anything.
It is loud in here and it isn’t even the music. The patrons were talking so loudly I could hear some of their conversations clearly. Others were just loud mumbles.
The food was tasty. My husband had the Alehouse burger with Korean BBQ sauce on the side (it is SPICY so be ware!!) He liked it but I burnt my taste buds off with just a tiny lick. 🙂 The fries are maybe beer battered or the like. They are one of my favorite kinds.
I had the charbroiled chicken salad. It was much like a chicken fajita taco salad. (chicken, green peppers, onions, salsa, fried tortilla pieces, cheese, ranch.) My thoughts on the salad would be branch out from romaine with a mix (too easy to get stuck with pieces with hard ribs that are bitter by themselves) and diced tomatoes rather than cherry tomatoes that I have to chop up in order to eat. Corn and black beans would be lovely too. It was nice to be able to add the salsa for flavor rather than the chicken being overwhelming.
We would come here again but maybe during the week or perhaps earlier in the evening so we can enjoy each other’s company and not the company (talking) of the tables next to us.
No receipt, just a total from the waitress. It must be the Gen X in me, I want to see what I am paying for and not just a total with tax included. We paid cash to avoid the added on credit card fees.

Once again, this place nailed it. Never dined in doors, but decided to have dinner this time. We usually go outdoors for lunch during the nicer weather. Wanted to try the burgers. Did NOT disappoint! Really, really good burgers! Love the fries. Daughter enjoyed her twisted Mac n cheese. Would definitely come back to try the other burgers! Lighting was a little dark in the room that wasn’t the bar. We did dine at night, so might be different during the day. Restrooms were clean.

Awesome place to go to! Definitely five stars. Our waitress Ashton was nice and would offer to refill our drinks. By the way, the fries are incredible!

We recently celebrated our son’s birthday party at Red’s. Food was tasty and the service provided a wonderful atmosphere for our family gathering. Our server also brought candles for our cake!

The burgers are great. Coleslaw was interesting, cabbage with pickled beet juice on it! Son had a burger and it was perfect, just how he ordered it. So, all in all, I’d go back. Oh, the servers were excellent.

We have eaten here twice within a week, it is that good! My family loved it! REDS Alehouse has the best burger, we have had since being in Iowa! We went once for lunch and back again today to sample the brunch menu. The Flatbreads are delicious. The pick two combos gave us a chance to try more of the menu. But the burgers are cooked to order and they know how to cook to your request. We have had excellent service during both of our visits. We will be back as the menu offers a variety of selections to keep the whole family happy.

Definitely recommended!
I had the vegan tamale which was absolutely delicious! Even at mexican restaurants it’s hard to find good vegetarian tamales. This is definitely on my list of favorites for that reason. They also have a few other vegan/vegetarian options.
Great service.
I love the fireplace!

We hosted an event at Red’s yesterday and had the best experience! The team at Red’s helped us create a limited menu and even printed out beautifully themed versions of the limited menu for our party. The food and drinks were awesome as well! Can’t recommend them enough for every day dining or events!

Fun place for good food. Happened to be there same time as the snuggly bus fundraiser thing but made it more interesting! Good dirty martini, even blue cheese olives. Wedge was great, French onion soup yummy. Grown up grilled cheese and a burger is what we all had. All were delicious! Looked like they have HH on weekdays as well.

We went for the patio, but it was just too humid and hot, so we ate inside. Excellent breakfast burger, cooked medium. The only negative comment was that the French onion soup was more croutons than soup. Had a flight of sours, and Ambrosia tasted exactly like the fruitsalad, and the tidal wave tasted like Hawaiin punch!!
