This place is AMAZING! I went here 7 years ago and have been dreaming of having it again when I returned to the area for a visit. It exceeded my memories. The gluten free and vegan labels were extremely helpful. It was also a great introduction to Indian food for my mother in law because there are descriptions and can make dishes very mild. The food and service was superb! They have both an Indian and Nepali menu too. The chicken tikka was out of this world! I also recommend the mango lassi and mango iced tea. They were extremely kind to celebrate my husband’s birthday as well! Make sure to to call for a reservation as they fill up quickly (with good reason). I will definitely go out of my way to come back here next time I’m in PA.

I found this place by accident, walking past, and I felt so deeply welcomed by the owner, Sarmila. The lunch buffet was an incredible value and everything was prepared with great care and quality. Coming back here is kind of a “must” now! I love how this business is run and I wish every town had such caring and intentional restaurants.

When you are eating here the best place to park is on the street but it is limited. I parked in the Garage 1/2 block away. I had the Nepali Appetizer Choila Medium but was actually mild. My main course was Goat Jalfrezi Medium. It was definelty medium and the flavors were excellent. The Goat was so tender. I also had Peshwari Naan bread which is a has different flavors such as coconut, raisens, and crushed almonds. For Dessert I had Golub Jamun. I had a wonderful meal!!

What a great place! We called ahead and went there with A LOT of family (9 little kids, 11 adults) and they were so pleasant and helpful! Most of us got the buffet, and it’s a great value! With delicious food! The best part was how happy they were to serve! They made us feel so welcomed!

Absolutely incredible! Himalayan Grill in Lancaster is hands-down one of the best dining experiences I’ve had. Not only is their restaurant consistently amazing with fresh, flavorful dishes and warm, attentive service, but their catering is truly exceptional.

Their team was organized, thoughtful, and genuinely cared about making everything perfect. You can tell they put their heart into what they do.

This is my favorite restaurant in all of Lancaster. Such a gem. There isn’t one thing they serve that isn’t spectacular. Small place but if you get the chance. Definitely check out their buffet. The naan is incredible and the service is friendly. I love the mango iced tea as well.

My partner and I get our food to pick up from here at least 6-8 times a year for the past 4 years. Consistently our order is timely, hot and the quality is out of this world. The woman who runs the front is always so friendly and the place feels like you’re walking into their pride and joy. I’m so grateful to this restaurant for showing what a beautiful example of what service and quality truly look like! I forever recommend the Chicken Tikka, the peshwari naan and the cauliflower Manchurian (apologies for spelling)!

My boyfriend and I love coming to this restaurant! It’s our favorite spot on Mondays for the buffet or any day that we’re craving comfort food.
I specifically want to point out one night we came a little late for the buffet. Instead of pushing us out or being upset that we came last minute— they made us feel right at home, offering additional food and leaving the buffet open a little longer for us to get seconds.
Food is great, service is great, will always come back.

The lamb Rogan Josh was outstanding. The lamb was very tender and slow-cooked, with deep, aromatic flavors. The gravy was rich and authentic, pairing perfectly with naan and rice. Every bite was satisfying.
The service was friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere was warm and comfortable. Overall, Himalayan Grill is a fantastic place for authentic Himalayan cuisine. I highly recommend it and will definitely be coming back.
