One thing – the place can get a bit cramped if you’re with a big group, might be worth booking ahead if you’re planning a family dinner or gathering. Overall, loved the food and vibe!
Will say service was very good.
Atmosphere was nice.
In regards to food…started with complimentary garlic knots that were real good.
Then nice little garden salad.
The the disappointment came with entree.
Ordered eggplant parmesean, which I have eaten all over the country.
Presentation was the first clue.
Next to pasta were 2 rows of eggplant covered with mozzarella.
I cut into this to find out they were actually small thick disks that looked like Fried Zucchini.
The eggplant which I assume was cut from a Japanese like eggplant was cut way too thick and was not cooked thoroughly or seasoned properly.
Pasta was cooked well and marinara sauce was good.
Maybe I just choose wrong dish.
the food was good!
penne primavera con pesto was really good. Got it without protein and was still filling with leftovers.
chicken saltimboca was hot and delicious. Also very filling with plenty leftover. pleased with the servings.
fried zucchini was good! very hot! the ranch was a great pairing.
when i asked to take the ranch home in my leftovers, josh got me a little cup and even poured the ranch in for me!! so kind!!
the environment was welcoming from the first step in. The music was top notch with no bad tracks including: neil diamond, nat king cole, otis redding, frank sinatra, and tom jones. The decore is classic and warm with old family photos and photos of original cities. The lights arent too bright.
