One of the best places on this earth. This was my first time here and let me tell you what. If you ever want to experience
mad max the movie this place is it. Ill let my photos speak for itself. Camp site ,vendors, beer , food. And well rounded people from all over the states and out of the country come here. Ill definitely follow this place for more extravagant upcoming events.

Love this place! Every time we visit we have a blast! So many cool gems hidden around the property! Lots of photo opportunities! Great place to meet with friends or have a date! They do all types of events throughout the warm months. Looking forward to going back!

Came from NW Ohio to visit this place on recommendation. Did not disappoint. Very creative use of an old mill I’m thinking. Definitely worth a stop of your in the area. Live music great service, did not eat there but I can only imagine the food is excellent.

I came here during an all-female biker ride.

The parking lot is mostly, if not all, gravel which makes for a sketchy time for trying to park a sport bike. Bring a kickstand puck/crushed drink can for underneath your kickstand, so it doesn’t sink in.

Psycho Silo seems like a very Harley/Male centric biker bar.

They had a sign advertising “Topless” day, which didn’t feel welcoming to me as a woman.
They had a noose as a prop, which also made me uncomfortable, especially since it’s the year 2025.

Finally, as a vegetarian, I asked the kitchen staff if the fried vegetables were fried in the same oil as the meat, and they said the fried vegetables WERE fried in the same oil as the meat, and so the fries/fried cheese/vegetables was NOT vegetarian. So the only thing I could eat was nachos, which was disappointing.

The venue is really cool though, a bit loud during live performances.

Highly recommend making a stop in here, especially if you are not from the area. I was told by a few locals about it and it did not disappoint. They are a cash only bar but do have a ATM onsite, or at least they did I was there. They have a little burger/BBQ area that is pretty good but limited menu.

Recently, I took a little road trip around Central Illinois and went hunting for local spots that have an ice cold Pabst Blue Ribbon. That’s how I ended up at Psycho Silo Saloon in Langley, IL—tucked away in a cornfield by the railroad tracks at the crossroads of Hwy 34 (Walter Payton Memorial Hwy) and Hwy 40.

Hard to describe Psycho Silo in just one word—it’s part dive bar, part biker bar, part honky-tonk, part juke joint, part antique junkyard, part concert venue, and 100% unique. Basically, a prairie oasis surrounded by Corn and Beans, where you can kick back with a beer and soak up the vibe.

I grabbed an ice-cold PBR from the bar and a chicken sandwich from the food truck while taking in the scene: bikers, farmers, and retirees all sharing the bar. They throw concerts, truck & car shows, and motorcycle events—I can only imagine the parties here are wild. Honestly, as a DJ/Event MC, I’d love to spin a set at this place.

It’s seasonal, so I picture it being the perfect stop after a long Illinois winter—whether you’re on a bike, behind the wheel of a classic car, or just taking a Sunday drive.

If you’re looking for something different, check out their band and event lineup and carve out a few hours in the Illinois countryside. Trust me—Psycho Silo Saloon is a Midwest must.

Psycho = AWESOMEEEE!!! First if your a biker pack up now and just ride there. Second if your not pack up and just drive there. What a unique, fun, and HUGE place in the middle of nowhere. We were riding by and saw this place from the road. Turned our bikes around and went back. There is so many cool things you can’t even begin. Staff was amazing and super friendly. They have airplanes, buses, stages, AX throwing, motorcycles in trees, you name it. Would love to visit this place on a weekend night. Can’t imagine how much fun happens. This is now on my MUST list.

We are staying at a campground nearby and the website mentioned this place. We are making our way back to Ohio and this was a nice little stop. Everyone who works here is really nice. The band playing last night was really good too. The place is awesome. I love all of the old stuff and the layout. The history behind it is really cool too. There’s something neat to see every square inch. The merchandise is also really cute. I wish we had something like this back in Ohio. We’d love to come back.
Cash only- also pretty cool to see.
