Wonderful place for inexpensive and DELICIOUS food! We got the cortadito (strong espresso with splash of warm milk) and the guava and cheese pastry. Both were amazing! The coffee was strong in the best way and not bitter/acidic. The pastry was warm, flaky, buttery, full of filling. It left you satisfied and full. The pastry and coffee cost $5 total- what a steal! The atmosphere is laid back, family friendly, and inviting. We will be back every day we are in Marathon (or any of the Keys).

Absolutely delicious! Authentic Cuban food and we should know, since we are Cuban descendants. The pork and skin is the BEST I have ever had! My son had pork with congee and maduros. He devoured it. I had the pork and onions sandwich. So moist and flavorful. My husband had the Croquet mix and loved it. Other son had mahi mahi sandwich and said it was way better then he expected. Big portions, so good. I took half my sandwich for later. Highly recommend and I will come here anytime I pass through! Staff is so nice and friendly, like next level. Water glasses were chilled, which was a snacking touch. Water came deliciously cold in a fancy bottle! You have to try this place!!!

We loved the Cuban coffee. The food looked amazing but we didn’t come at a time when we planned on eating. We will be back!

3/11/25—Our guests arrived at our vacation rental, all in awe of the beautiful house and the stunning view. You know it’s a good spot when people walk in, stop talking, and just start taking pictures!
We all decided to drive to Key West and spend the day there. It’s about an hour and a half—give or take, depending on how many times you stop to admire the endless ocean views (or how many tourists forget how to drive on US-1). On the way, my husband decided to have a light breakfast and found a restaurant through a quick Google search.
We parked on a side street, though there was parking out front as well. As we walked in, two ladies were already busy serving a family, and I noticed a police officer eating outside—always a good sign when the local cops are regulars. They had outdoor seating, but my husband chose to sit inside. We ordered something small since neither of us was really hungry, but he needed to take his chemo prescription with food. That was the main reason for the stop—otherwise, we would have just powered through until lunch with our guests.
My tostadas and croquetas were delicious, crispy in all the right ways, and the coffee? Absolutely perfect. The size, the strength—just right. It had the kind of kick that makes you sit up a little straighter and start planning all the fun (or chaos) the rest of the day might bring.

The best Cuban restaurant in Marathon, Haydee knows how to infuse all our traditional flavors into every meal prepared. Don’t miss out on the Cuban pizza and the best cafe con leche we have ever had

I can’t think of a better place to stop on the road during your key adventure. We saw this little cafe and turned around because it stuck out to us so much and we came with three children, unfortunately within the first 15 minutes my child spills a whole cup of milk and the employees rushed over to help us, wouldn’t let me help clean it and refilled his cup with a lid. They gave us outstanding customer service service – the food was absolutely amazing and I will be coming here again next road trip! 10/10

The Cuban coffee and a Guava empanada outside in the shade was a perfect start to the day. The guava empanada had a crispy pasty with tart guava – the best!!!

This was an excellent place to stop for lunch. The food is authentic and delicious. We got the cuban sandwich, fried cassava, and cafe coladas. I also picked up a piece of flan to go. All of these options get a 5 out of 5 from me!
