This is a cute little place that’s located just off the freeway. There were lots of locals chowing down on breakfast or lunch when we got there on a Sunday morning. This is NOT a brunch place….if you know what I mean. It’s a greasy spoon, and the food is served with lots of kitsch (in the form of pioneer themed stuff). Think comfort food served next to racoon and squirrel carvings.
My meal was biscuits and gravy with eggs, which was just OK. The sausage was not very good, but the biscuits and poached egg were. My dining companion had flapjacks that were awesome. Super fluffy and loads of chocolate chips, and whipped cream to boot.
The service was excellent, as well. Our waitress was on the ball, and super friendly. A regular Flo. Give this place a try. You’ll definitely enjoy the atmosphere…

Unique family friendly old west pioneer themed restaurant with all the fixings you’d expect. I had the veggie skillet with sourdough toast and over easy eggs. Big menu with plenty to choose from!

Super friendly service and classic diner dishes with traditional portioning (that means you’ll leave stuffed). I think they really smashed it out of the park here.
Highly recommend eating here with a companion and splitting something sweet with something savory, makes for a transcendent breakfast experience.
Not sure how much I cared for the frontier decor personally, but it was certainly on brand.
If I’m ever passing through again, I’ll have to try some of the gorgeous pies they have on display right as you walk in.

The Pioneer is definitely a place you want to visit if Abbi is your server! I ordered the musket skillet for brunch one day and not only did it relieve my hangover but my spirits as well. Abbi went above and beyond with her service while other employees were pleased just sitting on their phones. 10/10 coming again!

Small town restaurant right off the highway, has alot of character and the food was delicious. The food was a tad pricey for what you get and very little in place to fight the pandemic. The staff had on their mask and they had a sneeze guard protecting the cashier, but that was it. Customers still sat within six feet, if that’s something that would bother you. The service was okay, the pie looked amazing and the atmosphere was minimal.

Stopped in for lunch with my boys today. We had the chicken fried steak and the loaded musket and both were fantastic! Eggs were perfect as were the hash browns. Service was friendly and fast. If you’re looking for some good home cooked food, this is the place! You won’t be sorry.

We stopped in for breakfast on a Sunday morning. Staff was friendly and we were seated promptly. I ordered the Loaded Muzzle skillet and my dining partner had a waffle. Food was served quickly and was standard breakfast fair, nothing bad or overly impressive. I would have given it 4 stars but when the bill came to $31 I was a little surprised. $2 to add banana slices to a waffle? Not to mention they had no bananas and I had to ask for it to be removed from our bill. Other than slightly pricier than I thought it was a good a visit with friendly service.

Very good food. One of the best eggs benedict that I’ve had in a long time. The service was good not excellent. The bathrooms needed some loving care
